Jazz going after OJ Mayo

I wonder if the Jazz going after Mayo was just a headfake on our part. Or maybe they're waiting for the Bucks to make their play so they can counter if they want to.
 
Isn't Foye more or less Mayo Lite, who can be had for much less $ and for a much shorter contract?


With Burke pounding the rock and Hayward also another ball handler, I don't think Mayo's ball handling will be required. We just need an athletic defender who can knock down 3's when called upon.

Yep, and the Bucks went for it and committed the foul. Now we are at the line with some free throws to make. But we don't want to make them. This is the one time during the game when we miss on purpose.

Yahoo sports is reporting that Mayo to the Bucks is almost a done deal.

Thank god. One bullet dodged, 3 more to go (Al, Sap, Mo).

EDIT: Foye is a bullet I'd like to dodge, but I wouldn't throw a fit over re-signing him like I would the other three.
