Both @Sam Amick and @Alex Kennedy are reporting that Jazz are pursuing shooting guard O.J. Mayo. Kennedy: "They're going after him hard."

Interesting...

He's got a skillset we don't really have right now. He's only 25. He could be one of those FAs that needs to revive his career in Utah.

Interesting move depending on how much we pay him.

More free agent rumblings - OJ Mayo's likely suitors: Jazz, Bucks, Minnesota, Clippers, Blazers, Bobcats, Bulls.

It does not sound like the price will come cheap with so many teams after him, and not to mention the Jazz are probably not a playoff bound team.

The Bulls might be the best situation for OJ. But I'd put the Jazz second. Clippers don't have much cap space.

Obviously we will have to overpay.

Clippers can't afford him if they get Paul, right?

Bulls can't afford him.

Blazers really going to go after him when they have CJ and Wes at SG?

Who wants to go to the Bobcats?

Who wants to go to the Bucks?

I see Minnesota as being a favorite.

I wonder if this signals that the organization is trying to make sure it will be a fringe playoff team this year.

Well, Mayo is a talented young player, so it makes sense to pick him up if you can afford it. I think it's just about adding talent.

I like it for a decent price, but I would hate to overpay. Like, Hack said.. this could be a 'sign' for Alec..

Wtf for? So we can never watch alec burks play?

You could easily have a 3 wing rotation of Burks,Burke, and Mayo. I know everyone thinks Hayward is a SG, but he plays SF just as well (because really, positions don't exist).
