Jazz in 6

Well I mean we probably wont ever see it again. And for the record Im not saying it will work in other games. Im saying it worked last night.
Then stop arguing with me and start arguing with the guy who says going small ball the whole time is going to win our next 3 games.

Because our perimeter defenders are traffic cones.

Basically all of the national pundits recognize this. Not sure why you're so slow on the uptake.
I dont think that me or eliza have said that our perimeter defenders are good. We haven't even said that they were good in our small ball lineup. What happened was that we played better than they did with our small ball lineup. Again, that is a good thing. It means that it might work again if needed. Its almost like you are mad that small ball worked for the jazz last night. Why would that make you mad?

I have been arguing with you about last nights game. if you say stuff like "our small ball lineup got torched" and "they got a bunch of open threes against small ball" then im going to argue those points since they are incorrect. If you want to speculate that it wont work in the future then my only response would be you might be right. You might not. I have no idea if it will or wont.

Because it's not a discussion grounded in reality. Expecting small ball to be the magic bullet that will lead us to a 3-0 finish this series is beyond delusional, and I feel embarrassed for even joining a discussion on it.

We can switch everything with Gobert on the floor. He can defend anyone on the opposing team.
we have already agreed about this. We agree that we can. We dont though. When gobert is on the court the other team gets lots of open threes. For whatever reason, thats what happens. Lots of things could happen, but that is what actually does happen.

It gives us a better chance of winning that letting them shoot wide open 3’s with Rudy on the floor.

They get open three against the small ball, also.

Just say that it worked amazingly last night. That the jazz went on a huge run while implementing it. Thats all im asking. Dont tell me small got torched and left open a bunch of 3 point shooters instead. That is delusional and not grounded in reality bro.

Yeah not having Rudy on the floor will really help us stifle their 3 pt attack.

Except when they had a full game against our small ball before, they struggled against it for one quarter, and then finished 17/34 from 3 against it.

I'm not arguing with you. I'm not even sure why you're still replying to me, you brought up a separate point I wasn't arguing against and admitted that you agreed with my initial point.

1/7 without Rudy and 17/35 with Rudy last game my man. Who the **** cares about a regular season game when they had Luka.

Royce had zero FGs in Game 3. He did make 2 FTs to finish with 2 points in 32 minutes.

Damn shame that the Jazz didn't acclimate NAW to the rotation, because there's no way he doesn't outplay Royce at both ends. No way he doesn't defend Brunson better, and no way he doesn't attack the switching defense better.

Maybe that game was an outlier. Maybe we are better at small now than we were then. Maybe in that game we didn't try small ball with no conley and no oneal like we did last night. It didn't work for whatever reason back then, it did last night. Idk. Its something that worked once and could possibly work again.
