Jalen Rose on ESPN: Dwight Howard doesn't have a player on the Jazz who can block his shot. [Solution: Play a player (Elson, Fes), who can.]
Al is clogging up the offense...no spacing when he's in...he's too stationary....never cuts hard to the basket and sets terrible picks. I say sit him for Fes. The offense runs so much better with Fes, he's twice the rebounder and plays better D.
As if Jefferson is? BLACK HOLE on defense. Fes's problem is that he's playing too aggressively. AJ has the opposite problem. Until a player gets 10 MPG consistently, no argument. One minute's playing time is too small a sample size.Looks like the jazz are mailing this one in.
For all you Fes lovers. He got in the game tonight and did NOTHING. So for hell's sake, stop saying that he's the answer to all our problems
what is the point of double teaming Howard if we are just going to get creamed by wide open 3's?
I'm not. The two biggest problems have been the perimeter defense and the interior on both ends. Al was the primary problem inside; Raja was the primary problem on the wing. AK isn't scoring, but his impact defensively is partly making up for it. Just like Elson and Fes would.Look, if you feel better by blaming Al for everything, then knock yourself out. But the whole Jazz team is not playing well tonight.
It isn't just one guy.
"Senile" is a bit harsh. "Stubborn" and "inflexible" is not. These qualities are pretty positive for motivation. They are negative for in-game adjustments.Uh, no. Sorry. I may get upset sometimes, and yes, Sloan does let opposing teams shoot threes a lot.
But I'm not going to respect anyone on Jazzfanz who is going to call our Hall-of-Fame coach "senile"
Get lost
Yeah, you did, Marty. Don't remember the movie? You took your mom."He kissed it off the glass, like on prom night!" - Bolerjack
