Jazz May Be A Part of 3-Team Deal w/ Clippers

And people thought we would not use the Memo Trade exception. This is not a bad pickup. I'm hopefull we got a future pick in this deal. But either way we can definitely use the depth at PG. Mo is a huge upgrade over Watson and Tinsley.

was gonna say that. However, they are going to be paying him a lot more as well.

I guess next season if both Mo and Devin are on the team, it will be a tryout to see which will be re-signed for 4.5 mil per for three. or something.

Edit: consider starting Mo at the point and Devin at the 2 with Hayward at the three. Not the worst backcourt that I've heard of.

Right now they have the money. Why not use it?

Also neither of those players will be playing for 4.5M per year next year. To think otherwise is a pipe dream.

Actually Mo Williams could be a better pick up for us than Lillard, Rivers or Marshall. As these guys learn how to play in the NBA, Williams will hit the ground running.

He'll be pushing for the starting spot as well so he'll put Harris on his toes.

Does anybody remember when a player named Williams played the point while another point guard played at the 2 because neither of them could accept coming off the bench?

Deron and Derek Fisher

That seemed like a mess, but i just remembered that that team went to the western conference finals........

Weeeellll, not as much of a pipe dream as you might think. Mo came off the bench last year, and Devin has seemed broken for quite some time now. (emotionally, lost his confidence)

Also remember that the new CBA luxury tax multipliers are coming into effect in the coming years, the market for mid level players is going to go down really quick with the increasing luxury tax.

Finally, they are either at the end of their primes or already on their way down. Remember, Raja's only like 34 and he looks like a grandpa compared to younger players. What they need at this point of their careers is security, not huge bankroll.

(besides, unless one of them shows significant improvement the Jazz won't pay either much more than that, if they do I'll be kinda torqued)

LOL...David Locke getting scoldings from Ramona Shelburne

@ramonashelburne

@Lockedonsports Read what I wrote carefully. Mo "would" accept trade to Jazz. But it hasn't happened yet. He hasn't picked up his option yet
