Good passing there for Favors to get the foul.
Now I remember why didn't like Tinsley cause he shoots the 3, and he just hit one as I type this.
1. The Jazz got 2 points out of the 2-for-1, which is almost certainly more than they would have gotten out of an average single possession.
2. I never claimed to be an expert. You have, and have failed to explain anything. The Jazz are running sets, and racking up assists at a league average rate. There's plenty of off-ball action, just a complete lack of perimeter talent. What should they be doing/running?
Some high-low action? Who's fronting the Jazz bigs? Corbin hasn't shown a willingness to use Kanter in the high post, and defenders back way off Favors when he has the ball in the high post. With opposing defenses sagging way off Jazz perimeter players, and going under every screen, getting the ball to the bigs and getting anything going toward the basket is incredibly difficult. Jazz might have the worst perimeter talent in the league...again.2. Gee, where to begin? How about some high low action with kanter and favors? Have we even seen that this year? How is that even possible?
We aren't a pick and roll team. We do have bigs and need to use them.
Through 3 quarters, Jazz players not named Hayward or Kanter are shooting 6-34 with 9 turnovers.
If we think Wiggins is the cure all then we better expect another few years of this.
Lebron James is literally the only guy who could make this offense work and win.
I can't believe I'm seeing a Jazz offense so stagnant and selfish. What the hell is Sloan doing? Isn't he an advisor? He can't see that Ty Corbin isn't running an offense?
