No, it's pretty much just a raw stat award. It's just rare bad teams bring a player who is good enough off the bench to contend for it.

Yep, we miss Rudy badly. But Hood found his game, Donovan kept his game going and Jonas shot it well.

Mitchell was burning Jarret Jack in the first half. The Knicks adjusted and played mostly Ntilikina and Hardaway Jr. on him in the 2nd half. Plus, they were packing the paint on Mitchell's drives.
