Jazz Offseason Plan

Looks like Brogdon for Bojan works if we through in Eliza Hughes or Doke.

Why would Indiana want Bogey back though?
Indiana is rumored to want to trade Turner or Sabonis, but most likely Turner. They are also willing to trade Brogdon. Reports also say that they want to play LeVert as the primary ball handler.

Bojan fits next to LeVert, Warren and Sabonis really nicely.

That team would be so bad defensively.

On Spotrac, it says Joe’s last year of his contract is this coming season? So basically, he’d be a UFA right now if we hadn’t given him that dumb ****ing one additional year? God, that was the dumbest ****ing move we’ve ever done. There was literally zero reason to do it.
Really? 12.5 for a guy that was 6th MOY runner up and will be in the Jazz Ring of Honor? The dumbest move ever? I feel like people are way over thinking the Clippers series. Sometimes mismatches are a thing. Remember how everyone on here thought the Jazz broke the Clips after the 2017 series? Payback is a bitch.

Yes. It was completely and utterly pointless. There was no reason to do it. We gave him a deal. Then not too long after, gave him an additional year. At his age, that was silly.

Joe is a very well liked, and respected player. However, I don't see any team giving him any more than the full MLE ($9.7). So let's just say his market is $9-11. We could have probably waited and re-signed him for $11 or $12 and saved a couple million. It would be nice, but not really something worth getting too worked up about.

Well, I don't think anybody saw the pandemic's impact on the salary cap coming. You can blame a lot of **** on DL, but not that. I would much rather pay Joe 12.5 than Bojan 18.7.

Jesus, people, it is worth getting upset about. It was completely and utterly premature. There was zero reason to do it. We’re not a ****ing charity. Had we saved a couple million on him, that’s a couple million more we would have to spend, potentially.

It’s semantics. It was dumb as ****. I said it at the time, as did many others here. It made no sense and makes less sense now.
Meh. I feel like you are having a bad day and want to kick the dog a little. There are several other things to be pissed about that are in line before Joe's one year extension.

1. Covid
2. Miami condo collapse
3. Haiti president assassination
4. Tropical Storm Elsa
5. Inflation
6. Recent research on cell phone usage and brain cancer
7. Trump's still alive
8. China
9. Toddlers drowning in swimming pools.
10. Tesla stock in a holding pattern.
What a strange post.

Should we as a forum stop criticizing anything Jazz related until all of these other more important issues are resolved?

Yeah, only one of the dudes is a small scoring guard (Curry) and he only won 1 before getting Durant. It's the same **** you parrot. It's an extremely small sample of teams winning with their leading scorer being a 6'1 scoring guard.
He would have won without Durant.

Never before has there been a 6'1" shooting guard from Louisville who was born in the second-to-last season of Seinfeld who has led their team to a title. It would have to upset a massive historical precedent for anything like that to happen.

It's time to tear it down.
