Who are all of Don's good buddies? I've heard Collins, Ntilikina, Devonte Graham, Eric Paschall. Who else?

Only two I've ever heard of or mentioned was Ntilikina and Collins. Paschall sounds familiar too. Not sure of any else that aren't older guys like Chris Paul, Paul George.

Their motivation is I want them to!!

Charlotte has drafted really well and a has nice young core they can develop or cash in to contend.

I wish we could somehow replace Clarkson with Doug McDermott. He's a free agent so it would probably have to be a sign and trade with Indiana. Locke mentioned him this morning when talking about the best points gained players in the league. I think he could replace JC as our bench scorer and be WAY more efficient. He averaged nearly 14 points a game last year and shot 53% from the field and 39% from 3, Clarkson shot just 42.5% from the field and 35% from 3. Clarkson is -0.7 in Locke's points gained and McDermott is +1.4.

I've always liked McDermott. He's a good guy to plug into Bojan's role, too, if you ended up moving him.

I think JC is valuable because he can get his own shot and so the volume matters here. Doug is fine… basically Bojan light. If he was cheaper and allowed us to maneuver and get some other pieces I’d swap Doug for Bojan.

I could definitely see him being a fit in Bogeys role, and we wouldn't have to pay him near as much as Bogey. I think he'd really flourish is Quins system.

Bogey's going to make $18.5 million next season and over $19 million the following year. I think McDermott could be had for much much cheaper.

The Pacers offered Brogdon and #13 for Simmons and got shot down.

Would there be any possibility that we could do something like:

S&T McDermott and Brogdon
for
Bojan and Clarkson

Or maybe just Bojan for Brogdon since Indiana wants to go with LeVert.

Could be a decent "if Conley leaves" alternative right?

1-3 are fine. I’d probably rather have Caruso or Payton than Teague who seems cooked. Same with 4. Screw Ariza. I’d far rather have Gay or OPJ though they’d likely cost more.

I think the deal has to be smaller imo. Any trade where we receive a signed and traded player is basically a no go for me because of the apron issue.

If they wanted Conley for Brogdon that's the deal. They won't trade Malcolm without a pg coming back imo. I also don't know why they'd swap Doug for Bojan when Doug might be the cheaper version of what Bojan does.
 
On Spotrac, it says Joe’s last year of his contract is this coming season? So basically, he’d be a UFA right now if we hadn’t given him that dumb ****ing one additional year? God, that was the dumbest ****ing move we’ve ever done. There was literally zero reason to do it.
