Maybe Bojan is big improvement over Bertans, and we could help the Wiz shed Bertans' contract.I'd love Rui on this team.
Something like....
Bojan
for
Rui and Bertans?
Doesn't help our money situation. Not a big fan.

Rumor: Celtics doing "due diligence" on Ricky Rubio
Rubio is currently playing for Spain at the Tokyo Olympics.www.celticsblog.com
You don't ever look back and think about what we would have been if we had..The **** outta here.
I think that's our best bet for something big to happen with Bojan.Curious to see what happens in Indiana... it sounds like lots of changes could be out there for them. Warren, Turner, #13, Brogdon have been consistently brought up in trade rumors.

kept Crowder and Rubio
then signed Bojan
(instead of trading Crowder, picks and releasing Rubio in order to get Conley)?
Never?
I rarely ever either lol. I did today though.Never lmao
I never, ever think about keeping Rubio. He was a bad fit here, period. He is a bad fit most places because it turns out that shooting - the one thing basketball fundamentally is - is really, really important. You don't ever look back and think about what we would have been if we had..

I think about what would've happened if they'd kept Rubio, and the idea has merit, due to a) his size, b) his defense, and c) his coming at 1/3 the price of Conley, plus not costing Crowder, Allen, and two picks. It's a hingsight thing, but it's not a crazy argument.I never, ever think about keeping Rubio. He was a bad fit here, period. He also had hamstring issues.
While we're fantasizing, let's pretend the Jazz signed Jimmy Butler with their cap-space.
Why is Rubio even part of that train of thought, though? Re-signing Rubio was not necessary for the rest of those things to happen. If they couldn't find the right "PG" to pair with Donovan, then just stop delaying what looks inevitable at the end of every season and just make Donovan the "1". Or while we're still fantasizing, use that cap-space to sign Brogdon. And/or sign Caruso when he was in-limbo that offseason.I think about what would've happened if they'd kept Rubio, and the idea has merit, due to a) his size, b) his defense, and c) his coming at 1/3 the price of Conley, plus not costing Crowder, Allen, and two picks. I don't like living in the past, but we were always clamoring for a stretch 4 in place of Favors. If we took that defense first philosophy team and replace Favors with Bojan, we might have had something special. Why is Rubio even part of that train of thought, though? There are lots of ways we could try to answer the question before coming back what is both familiar and what glaringly didn't work.
Yeah, I sort of feel like the Favs salary dump is a Plan B scenario.I get the sense Ryan is going throw a few curve balls tonight.
Very interesting. Me likey.
Those don't exist because of that idiot DL2 second rounders then...
