Summary for the Jazz guys in the games today:
Exum: Honestly he looked lost and weak on the court. The game was too tough for him, he struggled and couldn't take contact much. The difference of the level especially experience wise is just too much for him. If he played more, I'm afraid Dragic could make him his wife or maid. Unfortunately it's the situation at this point. 2 rbs, 1 assist, 0 pts in 11 mins of playing time.
Motum: Calm, smart and efficient. But his team don't use him much. But he was trusted to finish the game on the court. 8 pts 3/5 FG, 2 rbs in 17 mins.
Tomic: Decent performance with 8 pts, 11 rbs and 4 assists. Bearing his rebounds were against a very short team. His defense was weak and 5 TOs was hard to watch.
So far in the games:
Neto: Meh. He always looks really good on the court with his dribble and all but he just doesn't impact the game deeply. He couldn't create for his team mates much yet but was OK in his own offense.
Gobert: The Gobert we all know. A reliable presence in the paint but went into foul problem. Could also be better at rebounds. 6 pts 3/5 FG, rbs, 2 blks in 19 mins so far.

I feel like he's been losing confidence with every game. He's getting more and more passive, even in open court he doesn't attack. Had a couple of chances for open court attack only to stop with the dribble at 18 feed and wait for his teammates. I am getting really worried...
At least we can lower the expectations for Exum this year. He is going to go through some rough patches.

Exactly how I feel. Maybe it's the way he is being coached right now. I can't say their coach is the brightest out there, I didn't like some of his in game decisions today. But he certainly had right to bench Exum because like I said, he looks like a boy amongst the men and can't adopt the pace and the harshness of the game. But still, one can easily see his talents even when he runs around on the court though. He has the feel of the game, but just doesn't or can't act on it.
to be quite honest, the more I watch the more worried and less hopeful I get
And I wanted so bad for him to do at least OK against Slovenia, Finland or Lithuania backups...I would really prefer that when he gets a lane to the basket he attacks and gets blocked 5 times than to watch him not even try to use whatever opportunities the opponent gives him, and several times they gave him chances to attack, he simply refused to do it. So weird and frustrating.
Gobert and Neto didn't play any more and finished the game just like I wrote. Neto, 6 pts 3/4 FG, 3 rbs 0 assists in 17 mins.

His handsomeness deceive you guys. To me, he was good but far from great.
Quick thoughts from toggling back and forth between the two games:
Exum: much, much too passive. As others have said, will have a long road ahead in learning how/when to use his skills on an NBA level.
Gobert: Strengths and weaknesses both on display. Lack of strength, both offense & defense as well as on boards hurt him. But he still managed to impact the game. Don't know at this point whether it's more realistic to expect more improvement from Gobert in terms of strength or Kanter in terms of defense/passing/BBIQ for either to become a fully dimensional NBA player. Agree that Gobert is much further along than a year ago.
Neto: looked great for his limited role. Not much spectacular (other than the behind-the-back to Splitter), but steady, smart, tenacious. Looks like potential to be at least a top-notch backup after a while in the NBA.
