I think it's pretty interesting that the Jazz are having basically a two-day workout/interview process with Kanter (June 2-3). Sounds like they're really going to do their homework on him, and I've even heard reports that they're going to take him to dinner. From the initial reports that came out from the combine that he was refusing to meet with KOC, to basically a two day affair is pretty comforting for all Kanter fans.
And it sounds like Irving will only work out for CLE (no surprise) and Williams will only work out for CLE and MINN.

The Jazz have definite plans to evaluate Congo power forward Bismack Biyombo during an upcoming overseas trip. While Utah's full itinerary has not been set, the Jazz will attend the adidas Eurocamp scheduled from June 11-13 in Treviso, Italy.
Utah could hold individual workouts for some international prospects that are expected to be chosen early in the 2011 NBA Draft, but will not participate in the Europcamp.

Because the Jazz value Height over basketball skills.
They had Mathews higher on thier board but were afraid that another team would draft the big from Michagan. So they drafted the big and called Mathews right after the draft with an invite to camp.

Anyway, I was just saying that Liggins would most likely be drafted in the second round.

Just dumb blanket statements. Which amazes me from a black man. Charles Barkley said it best recently when he stated something like how can he discriminate and be against same sex marriages as a black man. It just boggles my mind. The hatred, ignorance, and selfishness involved in such statements about another's race, culture, nation, family, etcetera just boggles my mind as a human being.

No I definitely am familiar with Farrakhan and his stupidity, but he has eased a bit on his foolishness as of late. I am by no means a supporter, hed just be an "interesting" person to hear a lecture from to say the least.

It's not just a favor, although that's often the case and tradition with local players. You never know when someone might impress, not enough to take #3 or maybe even #12, but if the Jazz DON'T re-sign AK, they'd have enough cash to buy a later pick: $3M has been the price in the last few drafts. Get a young prospect for $3M and yuo're comitted to a low-priced guaranteed contract for a couple of years. That's not too bad a deal for teams that have space under the tax.
Also, Jazz could buy or trade for a second rounder. Gotta cover all the bases, including looking for guys you think might go undrafted.
No, I was just saying that just because a guy is a player doesn't mean that he will be drafted.
