Boone's being very judicious and hesitant on describing Exum's shot, and rightly so. I agree release is okay, but the mechanics aren't all that good. Hard to shoot straight with those mechanics.
This kid looks like he could have been a byproduct of Andrei's yearly pass.

Well, I didn't get much out of that scrimmage. Bunch of players who don't know each other fooling around. No one played enough minutes to do much.

Favors looked very very comfortable on offense in the short sequence where he dropped those 4 points in quick succession. Head up, patient-- yet assertive. He completely owned Gobert with an up-and-under. Al-esque.
Kevin Murphy passed better than I ever remembered him passing, and he also got some pretty impressive rebounds. Didn't incessantly 'look for his' as much. He might snag that final roster spot-- if he doesn't, wouldn't be surprised to see him getting called up by another team.
Jack Cooley hustled, Motum deserves to be on an NBA roster.
Exum looked like **** except for when he killed Murry off the dribble, had a hesitation dribble, but then waltzed all the way over to the rim.
Novak is never afraid to pull the trigger. He'll help our spacing.
