My top-3 in order was Cody, Dilly, CarterI thought you wanted Dillingham?
Cody has a fairly complete game. He shot a good percentage at all three levels of offense. He has the ability to make good reads as a secondary creator or cutter. At times his length made him an okay defender.Being Norwegian makes it pretty hard to watch enough basketball to form my own opinion on most players. I watch maybe 20 Jazz-games a season on League Pass, and absolutely no NCAA or European ball. I do listen pretty religiously to the Dunc`d on podcasts as those guys appeal to my nerdyness. They did not like Cody as a prospect at all so if you could indulge me and tell me why this is a pick I should get excited for, I would be an even happier man than I am right now.

Mostly he lacks strength. Many analysts only watched the end of the season when he was recovering from injuries. For whatever reason he was fairly passive in these games compared to earlier in the season.
The assumption is as he adds strength his aggressive on the court will increase. Personally I think he was reading his role at Colorado correctly and that led to his high shooting %.
I don't believe it.Listed 220
Strong off hand. I like that
I have been wanting a 6 foot 8 dude with length for a long long time. The fact that he has good handles and can shoot and finish is the cherry on top. Would be nice if he weighed 220 though. I really like how good he is finishing and handling with his left hand. I was watching a highlight video and the beginning of the video was all finishes at the rim. There were so many where he went left and finished with his left that I thought he was left handed. Then I saw him take some jumpers and realized he was actually right handed lol.The pitch for Williams continues to be that he is long and has touch and is young. His development could go in a lot of directions, but that is a good base to build off.
The most glaring thing for me in the scouting video is that he is only 14 lb’s heavier than Dillingham. I’m worried he’s got that AK body type that prevents him from really being able to add weightWould be nice if he weighed 220 though.

I say put him on a hotdogs and peanut butter diet in conjecture with weightlifting.
I just remember every offseason we’d hear how AK47 put on 15 lb’s in the offseason just to lose it a month into the season. Was so frustrating. Hopefully that won’t be the case for Williams.I never understood how someone could have a difficult time putting on weight until I had my daughter. Growing up it was super easy for me to put on weight. I played football in high school and as soon as I started lifting and taking protein supplements I added weight very quickly.
My daughter has always struggled to put on weight though. Partly because of how active she is, partly because of her metabolism, and partly because of the types of foods she enjoys eating. It's a true chore for her and a constant struggle we've had with her to help put on weight. I'm now more sensitive to these super tall athletes that have a hard time putting on weight, because for some people it truly is a struggle.

I think Cody is at a "fill out" stage for his frame. I can imagine his bro giving him tips and tricks, but grabbing bits of info versus being immersed it are different things. I think he'll be okay once he gets into the program. Weight is one of the easier things to fix typically. There are tons of skinny teenagers who get on NBA strength training and diets and fill out their bodies, so I would say the probability that he improves his body significantly is very high. I also think the floor is so spread out in the NBA these days that speed and skill have become more important and strength a little less important (but still very important).
The main hesitancy I have with saying Cody will be fine is that he is so far behind on weight and he's had access to NBA strength training via his brother, I would assume.

Well Jessy’s man I want him to keep his appendages intact man. You want Lofton to share?Room him with Lofton
Ask Lofton to share.
I completely disagree. The more good weight you have the stronger and more explosive you are. Nba players get beat the **** up driving the lane. At 170 something he’s going to try avoiding contact, having the extra weight will help him absorb contact and finish better. I’m not sure a guy like Mitchell would be the same player if he played at 180lb’s.There are tons of skinny teenagers who get on NBA strength training and diets and fill out their bodies, so I would say the probability that he improves his body significantly is very high.
