Jazz VS Spurs @ 8:30 on Root Sports, ESPN 1280 AM/ 97.5 FM

Favors playing will be a huge advantage to block spurs drivers. We also need Kanter and Jefferson stepping up on D. If we play good D it should translate into good offense. Tire out Duncan. D Blair must be exploited on the offensive end, hes undersized.

Spurs have won 21 of their last 22 road games when they bring all their players to the game

The Utah Jazz now ranks 29th in the NBA in defensive rebounding

Going down because Favours has been out? Or is this a bigger issue?

I don't get this stat.
NBA.com has the Jazz at-
11th in rebounding differential
8th in rebounds/game at home
13th in rebounds/game at road.

I guess that means we get a lot of ORBs cuz we win the total battle an awful lot. Locke is a bit annoying but he doesn't make up stats.

Last I heard was that Favors was participating in full practices with the team and was a game time decision.

I have little doubts Favors plays tonight. He's had a full practice or two, and he knows we need him tonight.
Can't wait to see him back on the floor.

If Corbin had any stones, then he'd start Favors against Duncan and bring Jefferson off the bench. I'd rather Jefferson get abused by Manu-Splitter than Parker-Duncan.

It's more brains than stones. Apparently he lacks both.

Big Al and Sap cannot play together big minutes if we want to do anything this year. Sap's game seems to improve when he isn't on the floor with Big Al, and can be #1 option.

i know it sometimes is affective and at other times isnt, but we might be able to do a little bit of paul at the 3 and fav at the 4 and then enes or al at the 5 tonight. spurs are a little slower and they play a solid half court offense almost all game. it might be a good move jsut to mix up the defence and offensive skeems to keep SAS on their toes.
thoughts?

Fixed.

Actually, I've been shocked at how consistent Sap has been next to Al. Nobody else in the league can say the same thing. You go from being set up by one of the league's best PGs, to the status quo. Phew. ****. Sap is a rock.

We need Carroll and Marvin's defense.

.

Boris freaking Diaw works the Jazz. How does Corbin game plan to work him and Duncan both off the floor? Pound inside with Kanter then Big Al then Kanter then Big Al to get people in foul trouble?
