Jazz want a PG

Too bad there isn't any kobe/jordan type players in the draft. Jazz could really use one on this team. This is just a bad year for the jazz to be in the draft. We got way too many euro players in this draft. A lot of good players that could start for teams but as far as all star players I only see Irving as one. Dwill seems to be like sap and odom type of player which wouldn't be bad but on the line of a all star. Kemba has potential to be a great player in the league. Knight I am not sure about yet but see him as being an alright player. I would like to see the jazz get Dwill and trade down with some other draft picks to get a pg.

I'm not sold on Irving being a super star. I think the guy with the best chance of being great is Williams...I really don't wanna see him called DWill if he comes here though.

Not big on Kanter either

I'd MUCH rather have even Walker.

We need to start pro knigh thread here. The kanter love is vile and so borg! Nobody even wants to talk about how he plays FAVORS POSITION! I mean jebus!

According to Ryan Feldman(Twitter)

Sorry if this has been covered, but who the hell is Ryan Feldman?

Thanks pal. For a second there I thought that the Jazz or any other NBA team didn't want any kobe or jordan type players.

I have a hard time believing the Jazz would pick this guy at #3. At #12, yeah; could happen, but #3 is WAY too early...

What's wrong with Lawson? 50% shooter 40% from 3. He has had to play with Billups and Felton and hasn't been give full starter minutes. He could be 17/7 guy with a good jump shot.

Lawson's very good. But where was he drafted? ....18th.
You waste a top 3 pick on a guy who, in a another year, you can get in the teens.

I hate that the Jazz aren't producing rumors that they're taking Kanter. I'm not a master of strategy, but I can't see how that wouldn't strengthen our hand. Gossip about our interest in a PG (which has been steady) that wouldn't be drafted until 5 or 6 makes trading down more difficult.

I've been stoked on Kemba for a while now (actually, from back when I thought we could get him at #12), but not at #3.

And the Jazz should be able to snag another Millsap in the 2nd round right?

they gambled a cheap second rounder and it payed off. Another year they busted on that Michigan State center - I forget his name. You gamble based on what you see.

I get grief over it but I really like Charles Jenkeins this year. Not that they Jazz are gonna draft him. They don't have a late pick and there are more sure gambles at 3 and 12.

Yes yes and yes!

Does anyone have KOC's email address? We need to tell him this.

Kemba = Lawson (at best) = 18th pick

Pick Williams/Kanter, then draft Singleton at 12. You can buy a second rounder and pick up Andrew Goudelock on the extreme cheap. Right there's your genious 2nd round pick. Dude can shoot, he is faster than people think, and could use some better coaching to round out his fundementals as he went to a small school. There is no risk there. You can trade height with upside for very good point guards. I never want my team to be undersized again as a Jazz Fan.

Exactly. You don't gamble with the #3 pick. Which is why I wouldn't use it on Kanter who has never faced meaningful US competition.

Goudleock is a great example of a value bet. You can make gambles like that later in drafts. In the lottery you don't mess around.
