Idk, I feel like that gets rid of player match ups and such...makes it less realistic and fun, imo.

I'm trying to design a tournament bracket with as few bye's as possible. If I come up with anything good, I'll take a pic and upload it for feedback (can't find a bracket generator that will let me mess around with it much).

There's a way to do it where only 1 person gets a bye during the tournament, and it wouldn't be until the 3rd round (semi finals).

Two groups of 6 each play each other... Top four teams from each group advance to knockout stage!!

Not sure if serious. In red robin (to my understanding) you play each person. Meaning, you would play someone in round 1, then another person in round 2, then another in round 3....for 12 rounds. No one wants to vote on 6 different poles for 12 rounds.
