JazzFanz Official Draft Rumors Thread '13

The guy goes out and gives you a 20/20 when he gets PT and he's rumored in a trade? I don't care what the deal is. As PKM said, it could be for the 1 and 2 and it wouldn't be worth it. I turn in my Jazz card if this happens and don't feel the least bit of remorse in doing so.

OK, I take that back. If the Jazz were to get Cousins AND the #7 for Kanter, I'd probably pull the trigger. But only if Lindsey hires PKM to mentor/babysit Cousins.

Yeah, if bold is a synonym for "terrible" and "franchise crippling".

If they trade Kanter, and that is indicative of the "new direction" and management style our team will have, then I am ****ing done. There's no way it happens.

Okay.. one way I do it. Kanter to CLE for the #1 and Irving. Ding ding ding.

Adrian Wojnarowski: Utah likes Dennis Schroeder a great deal (14 and 21), and scant chance Nets (22) and Pacers (23) let guard reach New York, sources tell Y! Twitter @WojYahooNBA

Bennett is likely to slide to 8 or 9 first of all. Zeller seems to have gotten ahead of him on several draft boards.

He's more an undersized PF than a Power-3. It's risky. He needs to stay as light as he can.

Thinking about the Bennett "Dilemma". If Sacto doesn't pick him up at 7, I think he'll drop to 10. Detroit has Monroe, they have absolutely no need for Bennett who'll be disgruntled if not being used. Then at 9 there's the T-Wolves who already have K-Love, who many think is the best PF post Duncan and Dirk and they have a undersized PF in Derrick Williams. So absolutely no need. Then at 10 there's Portland who seem to be getting value for Aldridge back. So for them it'd make sense to snag him away. At 11 Philly would most likely take Adams after that.

I love how Utah is stirring the pot. Offers must be coming in, and the deals will get better after the first 6 or 7 picks.

If this is for real, the only explanation I have would be that the Jazz see Kanter and Favors as somewhat redundant, and Kanter being more easy to replace.

For example, what if we came out of this draft with Noel and Zeller?

Then the future would be darker. Noel and Favors are about as redundant as it gets, BTW.
