What's new

Jeff Green has been waived

He's a wing, 6'3" without shoes. Definitely not a power forward.
Looks like he has a short wingspan but it might just be the muscles. He looks like 2 to me.

Jeff Green was really bad as a fit. He just couldn't play in the offense so he basically became a spot-up shooter.

Well so is Royce O'Neale in most real world situations and Tucker looks like he's more powerfully built.
He’s not as big as Royce. Might be stronger but he looks like a combo guard to me.

I don't think this is the case, he's well built but doesn't have Royce's length and is listed as twenty lbs lighter. He's never shown any flashes of Royce's defensive versatility as far as I can tell.

I’m pretty sure this was mutual. Green lives in Miami. His wife is there and has been there like a week. They released him in the city he lives? At the end of a road trip so he wouldn’t have to fly back to SLC to play a game the day after Christmas? Pretty convenient to be a coincidence. He may not have been happy with his role and the Jazz probably weren’t all that happy with his play. Very much would guess it was mutual.

Wow. Surprised to wake up to this. Jeff Green probably agreed to it, he will find a team for sure.

I would have loved a switchy wing more but Tucker has been on a roll. I like him as a prospect. He can play.

Regarding Niang, he really didn't look bad offensively, he shoots his shots and he is good at it. He will be better in Green's role. No need to guard Monks and Nunns all the time now.

Green couldn't adapt to the offense. Couldn't make the offense flow and when ball hit him he took at least a few seconds to set something up. Not really Quin's offense.

It takes a lot of moves to cover up your mistakes. It grows exponentially as you gut your team of 1st round talent/picks.

I applaud their courage to move on quickly from mistakes, but wonder why they keep making so many.

You often criticize our front office, but at the same time say how you only follow the box score or radio broadcast.

Hindsight is 20/20.

You also refer to the FO as O'Lindsey. It's time to update that to some form of DL and JZ.
