DM and Jingles both ripped Larsen a new one for suggesting Green was an off-court problem.lockerroom compromise. niang a better lockerroom guy than green. only possible explanation...
I think the reason has to do with his shooting.green is "fine". niang just "better" in the locker room. only reason(that makes sense) the management picked him over jeff
niang is fine enough not to be an "off-court" problem, but niang, who's spent a couple of seasons here already, is simply better liked character in the lockerroom. jeff even mentioned in an interview moments before getting waived that he had some issues adjusting to the new atmosphere in Utah.DM and Jingles both ripped Larsen a new one for suggesting Green was an off-court problem.
funny how the jazz management always gets criticized for not making enough personnel moves, but when they do, they make those moves in a such erroneous/head-scratching way that would somehow led the fans to believe that they shouldn't make any moves to begin with.

The idea is kind of silly, though. If we really want to see Brantley play, why haven’t we? It’s not like it’s hard to give him a couple minutes here and there. From what I read on real gm , a tweet from tony jones suggests the jazz want Brantley on the floor now , and are also happy with Niang and want more minutes for him ..
nothing against Green , but he didn’t offer us much ... the lack of rebounding from him made him redundant
I hope he joins LAL. His addition simply would make them a worse team.niang is fine enough not to be an "off-court" problem, but niang, who's spent a couple of seasons here already, is simply better liked character in the lockerroom. jeff even mentioned in an interview moments before getting waived that he had some issues adjusting to the new atmosphere in Utah.
i mean, would anyone honestly believe that the team chose niang over him simply because niang is a better player?
and we are not a charity organization either. if jeff personally requested to be waived so he could join Lebron in LA and DL granted his wish, this clown needs to step down ASAP before him turning us into a complete joke.
Devils advocate take on this is that the Jazz have seen him play on the Stars, with a much better sample than a couple minutes here or there would have afforded him, while giving Jeff Green a chance to turn his play around. The idea is kind of silly, though. If we really want to see Brantley play, why haven’t we? It’s not like it’s hard to give him a couple minutes here and there.
That explanation is too simple, logical, and not a hot take. Boo!!!My read is they told Green he was going to be benched - being a veteran they offered to release him and he took it.
Doubt there is much more to it than that.
He's a wing, 6'3" without shoes. Definitely not a power forward.Tucker looks like another thoroughbred with a nice stroke but too small for most power forward match-ups I would think.
Well so is Royce O'Neale in most real world situations and Tucker looks like he's more powerfully built. He's a wing, 6'3" without shoes. Definitely not a power forward.
