Jefferson for Igudala

Yeah...a rumor from..."Bleacher Report Senior Analyst Bryan Tooperek "...Jesus...

Please GTFO with this ****.

I understand that the Bleacher Report is not as reliable as ESPN, ESPN Insider, Fox Sports, Pro Sports Daily, Best Buy or Hoops Hype. It seems like everyone still likes to take a peek at this rumor site. I guess I just need to know what the reputable sites are so I dont get all geeked up about some rumor.

Repped

If we get rid of Big Al, who will we blame Kanter's weak post moves on?

Not directly related, but I think they should experiment with the pick-and-pop (Kanter). He seems to have a decent mid-range shot.

Jazz would have to try to set up the pick and roll, and for some reason they are reluctant.

Any truth to the rumor that Salt's daddy is CEO of BR?

Does make you think though - who will they get to replace the hole left by Brand?

Also judging by how slow Kanter is coming along, and as much as I'd hate to say it, it might still be prudent to hold on to Jefferson for 1 more year.

At least until Kanter is a serviceable 3rd big.

I was thinking a Jefferson for Iggy deal made sense. But, then we traded for marvin Williams.

I don't think we're interested in Iggy any longer. If we ever were.

Actually iggy starts and Marvin the Martian gets the back up min at pf/sf great option and gives the jazz a solid 8 man rotation. The Williams trade would not stop an iggy trade.

Why? So we can continue to be mediocre? I understand Kanter isn't ready right now but if a decent trade comes along for Jefferson (assuming it will later in the year), you trade him. You're building for the future and Jefferson has no part in it. Let Kanter be the third big and let him learn.

Bleacher Report ......
Bleacher Report....
Bleacher Report.......

Bleacher Report ................

Last week I read really hillarious article in a Turkish newspaper (Sabah). Title was "Great Honor for Mehmet Okur" which reads: "Turkish Center, Mehmet Okur was selected at number 14 for the Hall of Fame of Centers." I was really suprised. A few pharagraphs later, I read: "Mehmet Okur, who was honored by the infamous basketball site Bleacher Report..." and a burst of histerical laughter knocked me down to the ground.

"For the Hall of Fame Centers"?
What the hell does that even mean??

And for one thing, I bet I could only count about 13 centers in history that were better than him anyway.
Offensively.... at the top of his game, enough said.
Defensively.... when he decided to play it, shut down Yao Ming in the playoffs.

It's all good to keep an open mind for decent trades, but I don't think you stick Al on the trading block.
Now.... if for all intents and purposes, the 6ers came to the Jazz and said "We'll give you Iguodala and a throw in for for Jefferson straight up."
Of course you go ahead and do it.

But I think we all surmise that this isn't going to happen anytime soon.
