And Quin just keeps pulling levers until he finds the guys that are going to contribute each night and then he rides those horses. He has confidence in all our guys and isn't afraid to put anyone out there, until the prove they just don't have it a given night.
This, although I thought he let Hood play waaaayyyyyy to much last night. He shouldn't have set foot on the court after he was 0 for 7.
Agreed. We are gonna need hood. And he will be one of our beat players this year imoMaybe so. But if you believe he is going to be one of your main scorers you have to let him keep shooting. You cant have it both ways. I'm not sold that Hood is the guy and never have been but those that think so have to be willing to let him keep chucking. Shooters have bad nights.

Trouble is with Hood is that he does't contribute anything when he's not hitting his shots. Guys like Ingles and Sefolosha contribute in many ways.

Yeah, Hayward had lots of growing pains becoming more of a leading scorer. He also had games like this. I'm not worried about his shot being off for one game. He has been shooting well this season. We also don't need him to be the #1 all the time, as tonight showed.Oddly enough, I’m more encouraged by Hood than I was at the beginning of the year. It’s going to be a challenge, and there’s some major development needed. . . but I’ve seen enough from both him and Quin Snyder to believe that they’ll get it figured out. Rodney is a smart guy and a hard worker. If he can stay healthy, he’ll be a core part of this team. I honestly believe that Rubio, Hood and Mitchell will make for one of the best young back courts in the league when it’s all said and done.
Hood may not have contributed much offensively, but he helped hound McCollum into a ****ty shooting night. I wouldn’t call that “nothing”.
