Jimmer to the JAZZ?

I have no problem with it. Jimmer the player could be a good fit on the team, the problem will be the local media/Y fans causing all the problems. Also I saw that article and it was written by a Y alum so the credibility is not really there.

He could bring some much needed three point shooting off the bench. He's not going to be able to play point guard that well, and he's too small of a shooting guard. But if we had a bigger point who could guard the sg then he could be pretty effective. I'd like to see it happen just for fun.

I doubt it. The Y homers would be adiment that he starts, even though he is clearly bench material, if that. I don't think the F/O wants irritate their fans anymore.

He's a classic example of a star college player, who doesn't have the athleticism/physicality to succeed at the next level.

We need to keep this in mind when evaluating this year's draftees...

I think his size mixed with a lack of athleticism and playmaking for others is what doomed him. I strongly believe that Nate Wolters who isn't athletic, but has great size, handle, playmaking, passing, and craftiness, will do very well in the league.

If the FO didn't seem to care that the entire fan base had enough of the vet charade and the non-stop Al Jefferson, the benching of young guys after 23/15 and the refusal to play anyone over two guys who could go scoreless for 4 or so games, then I doubt they'll care much about what some BYU fans think.

define "very well". better than an average career back up?

I'd rather have Watson or Tinsley back then take on the distraction that is Jimmer. Can you imagine seeing Hayward or Burks missing two shots in a row and hearing an entire section at ESA chanting we want Jimmer. Also don't underestimate what his acquisition would do to this board. Think of all the crazy Jimmer (bandwagon jazz fans that would sign in just because Jimmer is here)
