I thought Porter was your ace boon?
Loved teh dude, but I'm not paying him 27 million a year as the cap stagnates.

Screw that. I'll take $13 million a year for a guy that's going to give me everything he has, be a team leader and LOVES being in Utah. I'm past the Hayward drama. JJ, Jingles, Hood, Burks and Mitchell can all hold down the 2/3 spots this year. Maybe somebody surprises us. Jazz need a glue guy more than ever now. And, I know this is probably taboo to do for DL, the Jazz can go back on Joe's contract. Nothing has been officially signed, the NBA is still in moratorium.
I doubt the Jazz do that, but it's a thought.
Great locker room guy, 4th in the entire NBA in 3 point percentage at 44% last year, above average passer, solid rebounder, and perhaps our 2nd best defender next to Rudy last year.
Yeah, his contract is far from bad.

So nothing can be signed yet right? Could ingles decide not to sign now that Hayward is leaving?
Not it is not. It is an extremely tradeable piece in about 1 season.

But you didn't answer my question.Jingles role will be even bigger now that GH is gone. I can't imagine he'll walk away from this opportunity and this coaching staff that uses him so well. That would be crazy dumb on his part.
But you didn't answer my question.
Could be choose to go elswhere if he wanted too?
Its very taboo for either side to back out of a verbal agreementSo nothing can be signed yet right? Could ingles decide not to sign now that Hayward is leaving?
