What's new

Kanter did work.

Lulz you're probably right. Do you or anyone on here own Modern Warfare 3?

I'm just messing. Unfortunatly I do not own that game. I only have Modern Warfare 1. My game of choice right now is Zelda:Skyward Sword

To use the old cliche, Larryselbows, it applies here: Kanter did the things that don't show up on the stat sheet and without him we would not have won the game.

My first reaction was to get defensive and make fun of you guys. But then I realized that is just stupid and you all make good points. I will buy what you are selling and agree that there are things that don't show up in the stat sheet... but I remain hesitant to call it a great game.

Sorry folks, just my opinion.

It's very unusual to have a player go 1-8 from the field, yet be absolutely instrumental in getting a victory. I think that's what makes last night's performance from him so intriguing.

I refuse to believe that at still such an early stage that his scoring on at least those bunnies doesn't substantially improve.

As of right now, he's rebounding like an absolute monster, and he's doing very well defensively (which IMO has the steepest learning curve).

This^. He just straight bodies up dudes and works. Reminds me of the old Pistons. That's fast becoming a lost art in this league.

If Booz and Okur had done some of the "little things" that Kanter does, we could've had four or five extra wins a year and gotten home court in the playoffs for a round or two and avoided the lakers in the first and second rounds.

I like Kanter, don't get me wrong... but this love fest makes me want to puke. I still see a lot of limitations in his game... Let's not lose sight of the fact that he's still a developing player, and while I see some promising things from him out there, I don't think you can honestly say he's the cure to all our ills... yet.

Now Hayward on the other hand. God he's sexy.

Unfortunately, I missed the Dallas road game and last night's game. It's cool to hear that Kanter showed something really positive on man-to-man D.

But, tell me, how were his rotations on team D? That's where he has struggled the most.

Yep, a few too many prima donna finesse players. I like the old school.

Same here. Put those guys in their primes into this league and they'd break the Gasols and Dirks of the league.

I'd rather someone answer .. but I would say his team d has really progressed nicely in a short period. His PnR defense has come along incredibly fast. Please, anyone, give an alternative view .. Months ago, I decided to try not to say much about Kanter .. being a UK fan and all.
