Even if you want to trade Kanter, now is the worst time for it. He looks bad after coming back from injury, not motivated because of tanking szenario, no decent coaching in the last 2.5 years.

LOL ... Man some Jazz fans really can't look objectively at our players. Tim Duncan is arguably top PF of all time. Kanter will never be the defender Duncan has been.

I don't want to trade Kanter but I am starting to think that Favors and Kanter can't play together. They are both PFs. The Jazz have other needs and they are going to have a hard time paying all three guys Kanter, Favors and Hayward. So if the Jazz were able to get a very good player or a high draft pick in this 2014 to fill another need then I would be open to it.
 
Kanter is the future for the Jazz. You would only trade him if you got equal value. A top five pick this draft or some young stud. Anything else is pure folly.
 
I like Kanter but no way someone gives their top 5 pick this draft.
The top five players are franchise type talent.
Kanter is not a franchise type player. Not yet anyway.
But adding a top five player like the Jazz should get with their own pick will make Kanter a much better player.
Keep Kanter for now. They do need him.
