Kendall Marshall - Our next PG Hope

Not me. Rivers has clutch and heart to him. If we're going to draft an SG at the PG spot, we might as well go with Rivers. I don't see much PG in Lilliard unless he's gotten better since his Freshman year.

I'm Marshall, Rivers, Lilliard.

What are you even basing that on? The few minutes you watched of the highlights I posted earlier? I'm not saying I've seen him display fantastic PG skills by any means, I just haven't seen enough of him to put a label on him, and neither have you.

I would respond to this, but it appears everybody else beat me to it. I honestly can't stop laughing at that statement....wow.

Ahh soo many replies.
I'm only judging him on the only material I have of him...youtube vids.
Is he on cable anywhere?

I would be intrigued if we got Rivers. Does he want to become a PG though? I know he will probably answer "I will become whatever the team wants me to do yadadadaaadada", but does he actually want to be a PG?

I don't believe he's ever come out and said what position he wants to play, but I can't imagine he would have a problem with it. Sorry for the lack of information.

I brought this up once before and PKM said he's willing. Not sure if that was his personal opinion, or if he had heard that from his sources. He also said that there are some teams scouting him purely as a PG prospect.

He has said he knows teams want him to become an elite PG. Doc has told him it's in his best interest. Teams are scouting him solely as a PG.

Those are facts. None of us know, however, whether he 'wants' to do it.

PKM, may I ask how you know all this? Are you a UK booster?

I've seen him say on one of those promo/highlight videos that he's a "combo guard". No idea why he'd want to label himself a "tweener"... but that's what he did. Just tells me he's not even willing to commit himself one way or the other..

Wow, just saw Marshalls line for the day. 0-6 fg 0-2 3's and 1-2 ft. He did have 6 assists though.

It was a weird game, nobody from UNC could hit a shot. Harrison Barnes went like 3-16 or something...I think as a team they shot around 32%, only guy that I remember shooting well was Zeller...typical. Anyways, since after that last game everybody said Marshall was showing he can shoot, I'm going to use this one game and say that he'll never be able to make one shot in the NBA.

Yea, one game is never fair. Looking over a season is more fair but still doesn't tell the whole story. Waiting a couple of years with changes on the team says the most.

I watched Marshall for the first time today, bad day to watch. He does have good passing skills but the guy cannot shoot a lick. Really ugly shot.

Also I didn't see him creating offense...like driving and dishing. Is that part of his game?

Not at all. But his passing will really open up our offense a lot, even if he doesn't need to be guarded.
