Kings willing to deal Stauskas

I'm afraid Enes might be lost. He was never super tough mentally, I don't know if he has it in him to overcome a benching. Trading him might be merciful. Sad that jazz will only get a salary dump or an inconsequential pick in return. That draft could have been great for the jazz, it is looking less and less than great everyday.

Let's be honest, it was a pretty crappy draft all round... apart from Kyrie who would be 2nd and 3rd best? Klay Thompson and Kawhi Leonard? Nobody would have thought those guys should have gone 2-3.

It's kinda like predicting Devin Booker and Justise Winslow to be the 2nd and 3rd best player in the 2015 class. Who would do that?

Kanter's numbers have fallen off a cliff the last couple of games; but it's more than that - he's missing wide open shots that he usually makes and looks even slower than usual. I wonder if he's hurt and feels that he has to play through it to ward off Gobert's emergence or he's heard rumors within the organization that he's about to be traded and that's messing with his head.

Probably about Gobert and more about his next contract.

I would guess the last one. Whenever his head isn't straight forward, he loses confidence and looks clueless. If one of those days he straightens himself up, he will demostrate a lot more than what he is right now.

When did we win the lotto?

2011 via Brooklyn. I'm a fan of Kanter, but he hasn't worked out how I'd hoped he would have. In hindsight, Thompson, Leonard, Butler and Faried are clearly the stars from that draft. The big debate for the Jazz was Kanter vs. Knight (although I remember some beating the drums for Valanciunas and Vessely also.) I personally wanted a center over a PG, and would have been happy with either Kanter or Valanciunias. Those were my top two players for #3 that year.
