Kings win the coin toss over Nets - Jazz will pick 6th

Ping pong ball wise, drops Utah's chances from 8.3% to 8.2% for the #1 overall pick, and 27.8% to 27.7% for a top-3 pick.

Well like a poster said earlier, it has almost zero effect on our chances to get a top 3 pick, which is all I really care about.

The Jazz may have won one 2nd round coin flip but I could be mistaken and this is the only coin flip I can remember the Jazz winning, coincidence considering who benefited?
In 1979, the 31-51 Chicago Bulls called "heads" and the coin came up "tails," thereby giving the first pick to the 26-56 New Orleans Jazz. But the Jazz had to compensate the Lakers for having signed Los Angeles free agent Gail Goodrich and did so with three draft picks, including New Orleans' first round pick in 1979. This became the No. 1 pick after the coin toss, which in turn became Magic Johnson out of Michigan State.

Also I don't know if you could bet on it but had I thought about it before hand I honestly would've had put $100 that the Jazz lose the coin flip if enough Jazz fans would've done that it still wouldn't have changed the out come but we'd all be a bit richer.
Also if somehow the Jazz would've won the flip it would've been worth the $100 IMO.

I blame the Jazz. Had they simply won in New Jersey, this would all be a mute point.

Of course. Still would have loved a top 5 pick, but this draft is about 15 deep as far as having players with solid potential. After that it drops like a rock....hard.
