I think Jingles should still start for the time being. Especially if he keeps shooting the ball well 40%+ from three. The question then would be what do we want to sacrifice and gain in the same token. Thabo's better defense than Joe's, even though Joe is still a good defender, or Joe's better shooting, even if Thabo shoots decently well, lets say 35%.
It's probably situational anyway. Start Ingles and let's see where we're at after a certain amount of games. It will also be situational in the games themselves too, I would imagine.

lol. Mitchell and Exum will be playing a lot together. Exum is getting a good amount of playing time this year.

I think Ingles is better than both Hood and Sefolosha. His playmaking and shooting are better than both and his defense is far better than Hood and though not as good as Sefolosha has shown in the past, was pretty damn close last year.

Yea, Exum may not be what you want from a top 5 pick (yet), but he's already better than Burks has ever been. Even if it's simply because he is far superior on defense and passing.

Why is everybody assuming Hood is the starter? Ingles was better than Hood in almost every way last year and especially in the playoffs. Let Thabo start with Ingles. Hood's shooting could be handy off of the bench and if it's playing with good defender's like Exum and Mitchell then that might be a great fit for him. I just don't see how everybody thinks it's Ingles or Thabo, I believe Ingles is the starter and Hood and Thabo should be competing for the other wing spot.
Because Hayward leaving left a huge hole in the offense and the FO has been peddling Hood as the primary scorer. That's just how it's going to roll, unless somebody really steps up.
Also, Ingles and Hood starting isn't mutually exclusive.

If he does this, then he learned nothing from sitting on the bench the last two seasons. All I can say is if he does, I will be disappointed and it will demonstrate that he has no hope of ever becoming a star player.

Because no one else has as much potential scoring ability on the perimeter as Hood, and Hayward was the team's high scorer, so we need to fill his spot with a scorer.

Hood will start at SG and Ingles at SF. Those 2 guys are our only 3 point shooters in the starting lineup. And Hood is our great hope of replacing some of Haywood's offense. There's no chance that Quin starts Thabo over either one of them.
Thabo starting sounds like one of Locke's brilliant ideas. There shouldn't be any doubt that Quin is already stressing over a lineup with Rubio/Favors/Gobert. He didn't even like Favors next to Rudy when we had 3 legit shooters, let alone only 2. No chance he moves either Hood nor Ingles out of the starting lineup IMO.
