I HATE Mark Jackson so much.
That being said, he was 100% right when he said that the Lakers are trying to get back in the game, and the Jazz are saying UH OH!. The bad part was the one who looked like he was saying UH OH more than anyone was Corbin. I agree he needs to be given a fair chance, but his demeanor and coaching choices so far have me not too hopeful.

That's bull. The Jazz were kicking the Lakers butts, up by 18, and then it was one bullcrap call after another to get the Lakers in the game.

The only bullcrap call was not putting Fes back in for 20 seconds when Kobe came back in so Fes could finish him with the KO.

*This post is not meant to say Fes would have made a difference, nor that I think Fes should have got more time. It's just a joke about wanting to see him knock Kobe over again.

I know Fes played well last night, but I hate to put a damper on this Fes parade, it's one game he does this all the time it's a cycle with this nut job! He doesn't play for a few weeks, then for what ever reason injury or what ever he gets minutes he plays well, and earns more minutes the next game or two then promptly sent to the bench for the next few weeks because everyone is reminded that he is a bonehead idiot!

For the last time..... Yes he is as athletic as it gets for a 7ft. 300lb. Big man. For all his talent, potential and all that everyone see's is overshadowed by how dumb he is, overshadowed by his lack work he puts in to improve his game, overshadowed by his immaturity. He's still the same player he was as a a rook.

I'm always glad when he plays well, but don't be fooled by this one game.

The dude never gets minutes. If it goes by SOP, he will get 3 or 4 minutes the next game. I remember a couple of years ago he had a tremendous game against Yao Ming: scored, rebounded, blocked shots, played D and got around 35 minutes. His reward, a couple of minutes of the next couple games and then a string of DNP.

Hope Fes reads this:

Kyrylo Fesenko, center for the Utah Jazz, was involved in a couple of incidents with Kobe Bryant during the 96-85 Lakers win up in Utah.
The first was when Fesenko banged knees with Kobe Bryant at the top of the key, and the other, was a hard foul followed by Fesenko throwing the ball towards Bryant.
Pau Gasol had to restrain Bryant, as he began to charge Fesenko after the ball was thrown towards him.
Here is what Kobe had to say after the game, courtesy the O.C. Register
I asked Kobe Bryant what he initially thought when Bryant’s tender right knee took that hard knee from Kyrylo Fesenko, Utah’s fledgling 7-footer who started the game Friday night.
Bryant’s answer: “Kitty cats can’t hurt me.”
Bryant was asked by another reporter if the situation with Fesenko ignited the Lakers’ run.
Bryant’s answer: “Teddy bears don’t ignite me.”
Another reporter asked about it further, and Bryant cut it off, laughing. After he finished answering other questions, he laughed again and announced: “You guys asked me three questions on Fesenko. You’ve got to be (expletive) me!”

I'm calling it right now.

April 5th in LA. Fes knocks Kobe's *** out cold in the first 10 min. of the game. Kobe done for season.

Some fat topless chick rushes the court. Usher's let her go this time.

Utah gives Fes a 3 year contract. Stern hands down a 3 year suspension.

those fouls were not that hard.
Kobe elbows people harder than that whenever he wants, and usually doesn't even get called for a foul when he does.

the ball was not "thrown"

LOL!!!

Seriously?

yea, just review the last 3 or 4 minutes of the first half.
The NBA has cut down a lot on instant replays, because if they replayed every close call in slow mo like they used to, it would be more obvious how many bad calls there are. All a Laker has to do when they are down to draw a foul is body up to a jazz guy and fall down. It's ridiculous.

Ummmm.... We could have said the exact same about Jordan... About Magic... I'm sure back in the day people were saying the same about Jerry West too.

Lets just admit that there's a reason why the Lakers are #2 in the west and we're missing out on the playoffs... And it isn't the refs.

I give credit when credit is due. The Jazz played hard, but the Lakers were sleepwalking. They normally get bored with us in the 2nd half. This time, they were bored with us in the 1st.

The Jazz have been outmanned at nearly every position from coach to waterboy for about one decade now. They're just a lot better than we are. Until we find a center who can beat Bynum, a PF that can take the fight to Gasol, someone that can just challenge Lamar, and someone who can make Kobe play defense (he hasn't played defense against us since Hornacek with the few game exception last year against Wes Matthews), we aint gonna come close to beating them.

The credit goes to the refs. The Lakers do not deserve any credit. Go watch the last 4 minutes of the 2nd quarter Thriller, and stop shoveling your Kobe Jordan Magic bull.

The Lakers beat us in nearly every statistical category in that game.

Blame the refs all you want (which is what you seem to do after every loss) but the Lakers beat us. They're a lot better than we are.
