I will never blame anyone for not liking Aesop, his style is quite abrasive, but to compare Lupe to him is a sin. MF Doom has some great stuff but I have never been able to sit down and listen to him for more than a few songs in a row.

I tried to rep the Tonic video, it's been a while since I listened to that album.

I like Macklemore & Ryan Lewis and this parody might be better than the original Thrift Shop.

i was really trying to save my last 2 posts for the draft thread but id like to add to this, if you think mos is a bad rapper. i question what your listening to, no doubt aesop would tell you mos is dope. mos can rip ridiculous freestyles legitimately off the top, unlike alot of 'lyricists' his talents, storytelling abilities supercede rap.

A sin hey?I think you're right. Aesop being compared to Lupe will forever be a sin until Aesop puts out an LP that can even approach The cool, or Food and Liquor.

And its funny, because I am not even really a Lupe fan by any means. I've always been impartial to him. But Mos would ****ing run absolute circles around A$$op and its not even close. Look up his freestyles, look up his Blackstar works, do whatever you wanna do. I threw up the Charlie Hunter track just to cement Mos Def as being the much better artist period, on top of being a much better rapper.

Aesop is probably this generations Jeru the Damaja. How hip hop has gone down hill...

Is someone in here disparaging the name of MF DOOM? You must have missed Madvillainy being the best hip hop album of all time.
