if you are not involved in the game enough to hear the voices of how well he was playing ALL SUMMER , then you are like the rest of us. Ainge however has ears and eyes everywhere.
No way he didn't see what he was capable of before the trade, and then for the Finnisher to dominate the Euro play in the following week was just **** on a platterpuss
CLE clearly valued Don as a first option way more than keeping the FInnisher in a 3rd option role behind their recently maxed Garland and top 3 pick Mobley?
Like I said Ainge owned the Cavs in this deal
not what I said. I think they knew damn well what they had, and were still never going to use or be able to market him as much as a proven allstar like Mitchell.Ah i see. So the cavs front office weren’t watching their own player. Makes sense

I don't think you are seeing how much they valued Don at all here. No matter much they did or didn't value Marky. I think he has outperformed expectations for most fans overall, but in Cleveland was largely inconsistent as a shooter, not a great mobile defender, and he was not having plays run for him as a first option. He lacks elite self creation ability, which is something they needed from him, if he was going to get more usage without having that 1st option play calling.Cleveland clearly didnt think markennan was very good. And they saw him every day for a long long time.

this is stupid logic. They valued Mitchell clearly way more. But to think the Finnisher is some 1st team all nba guy after what he shown this season is a homer take by you as well. He has been great, he is no messiahLol.
They knew what they had and said “lets see how much we can give the jazz along with our all star player. We hate to win trades”

By all metrics Lauri is rare specimen. Very rare.
On the other topics. The spirit of home fandom, as it is, random dude doesn't register to this site without deep love to either Jazz and/or Lauri. Haters will be very soon separated out of the gold by their own conduct.
There can be very much salt around considering the scenery of Salt Lake City, but there cannot be salt induced vain tears condensed by his own efforts in this ****ing random peripheria of basketball takes.
Shortly and bluntly, this is just about the last forum in the interwebs to be ******* for Lauri, and as it so, also to fellow Jazz/Utah fans.
PERKELE! What it is so hard in playing as a team?

What I'm trying say.I’m really not sure what you are trying to say but Lauri is pretty much universally loved by everyone on here.
I’m not sure all of what you’re saying, but you should have seen a couple of the Dante Exum / Ben Simmons fan boys. What I'm trying say.
People can disagree (and they will) in their takes, but it is only sad when it goes to personal infights (seen also in this very thread), I as a random Finnish Lauri fan would expect it all should at least to try to be constructive. In tone, and effort.
As it is in reality, take 10 Drunken Finnish Lauri fans and 10 Random drunken NBA fans of Salt Lake City, and it would be clear to everyone there immediately who can "conduct".
Our tendency to not "conduct" is by the fact that Lauri is somewhat nearest the guy...

There is ongoing discussion in Finland on what are criterions, and how to determine the Sportman of the year 2022.
Lauri is eligible, but Finnish audience just follow those eternal skiers. It never downed onto Finnish citizens that there may something bigger than that skiiing...
Roger. Nobody take these fights serious.
Let us all enjoy Lauri as long as it lasts.
Its saturday night. He's drunk.I’m really not sure what you are trying to say but Lauri is pretty much universally loved by everyone on here.
