I just go to the Beer Co-op in SLC. They refill them for $3-$7 with Squatters or Wasatch beer. I do wish grocery stores/gas stations could just sell them. But ill settle for the breweries being able to sell them.

I did get handed for free a bunch of filled growlers I brought home from the SLC Outdoor Retailer Show. I am pretty sure Utah just turns a blind eye to the liquor situation there. There is booze everywhere for free. Since it is a private event not open to the public they can get away with more but they cant give away unopened booze which I brought home a fridge full of. Along with coats, pants, hats, beenies, socks... and more **** I dont know what to do with.

completely agreed-- the Corvettes of the 80s (lol) 90s (lol) and even 2000s were brutal.


They'll always have that stigma for me though

Our best midfielder got injured before half and the other team was much younger than us, we just run out of gas. Sucks as it was our single loss of the season, before that we had 10 wins and 1 tie. Anyway, there is always next season:)

just giving u a hard time. I played my first indoor soccer game of 6 years last Saturday and ohhhmmyyygood was I gassed in a hurry. But it was so much fun to get back out there. I think I stretched for like 30 minutes before the game because I could just feel the rust.

The pace of indoor game is just so fast. Especially if you play with boards. Great cardio for sure.
 
Hey guys & girls


So it came up on my calender this morning that it's my ex gf's birthday today. (the one I could never seem to get over). I don't have her on my facebook (anymore). So do you guys think I should give her a call? It didn't end well... she's sort of not very attentive and standoffish type personality and I needed someone who's a bit more loving & giving. I'm always the one calling her but she is a good person and is caring despite the cold exterior. I also think I could do better but haven't been able to find the time.


Anyway, do you guys & girls think I should call to say Happy Birthday?

Love your line of being able to "do better" I mean, do you care about this person or are you just trying to plug a female into an empty slot in your social status?

Well as I said she can be a bit cold and unattentive, and I did ask her 'are you likely to change?' She admitted that it was her personality and is unlikely to change. By 'do better' I meant I could find someone who's a bit more caring/loving personality... may be 'do better' is a wrong word, more like someone with a better fit for me personality wise, I don't know what the word for that is.
 
The only person you can change in a relationship is you. If you can only see yourself with someone if they change then you should just move along until you find someone you can accept at face value.

Yeah that's true. That's why I'm hesitant to call her. You're probably right. I probably won't call her. It's just that my heart melts everytime I imagine her face, and last night I had a bad dream, woke up at 4am, saw her birthday notification on my phone, and couldn't go back to sleep until 7am ....


But yeah, I really shouldn't start something I know probably wouldn't work down the road. It's just so hard to let go though.

Why make any contact with her? It didn't end well, she hurt you, and guess what? Hard truth here, she doesn't like or want you back. If she did, she would've done something about it. Now OL, you're a needy guy. That's ok, not saying it's bad, but you have to realize it. You are needy. So you've got this girl, you dated her, she's not attentive, doesn't make you feel special, which is all fine, but those aren't the qualities that you want or need. The only thing going down this route would do is create more hurt from you. There's absolutely no point to contacting her. None.

Delete her number. Delete her birthday. Delete her from your life. Decide if you really wanna be single or. It. You know what your post says? It says, "I really want to have a relationship with somebody. Anybody." And that's ok, but you have to admit that to yourself. And if that's what you want, then go make it happen. And realize that the perfect woman doesn't exist. My wife does things that drive me nuts. I live with them because I love her. She's worth it. But you have to realize you're not going to find anybody that is perfect for you. Now I think this is the 5th or so time I've posted something similar to you. I like you OL, but I cannot stand people who constantly ask for advice, and then just ignore it and do what they want. Ok? You've heard all this stuff before. You know what to do. Just do it now.
