Life - official thread

Just back home to St. George from SLC for 9 days.

The jury trial was EXHAUSTING. A real roller coaster ride of emotions.
Got almost no sleep at all. My legal team and I spent every day in the courtroom and every single evening until after midnight preparing for the next day.

I am very unused to being a defendant (or in court at all for that matter). This case actually didn't involve anything that I was ever personally involved with, but was against a company I purchased and something that predated the acquisition.

Kind of a humbling experience considering I have my fate in the hands of a twelve person jury and completely out of any 'strategic' control.

Closing arguments and jury deliberation was today with the most complicated ballot I've ever seen.
The verdict didn't come in. So, with Monday being a federal holiday, the deliberations resume on Tuesday.

I'm the most calm/chill guy I know (srsly), but this has been gut-wrenching.

Summary: life is great because my wife loves me (mostly) and my kids are great and healthy.

Loved the summary. Good luck with the trial.

We won.
