I don't disagree with any of that, but it seems like there are a lot of people repeating all the owners' talking points without going deeper or being the least bit skeptical. For whatever reason (I imagine it has something to do with access to media outlets), the owners have done a much better job than the players communicating with the public, and convincing them that they're on the side of the angels. For various reasons, discussed in several articles throughout the process, much of that seems like utter ******** (to me, at least). Why? I don't get why some people seem to be taking this issue personally. Is your bank account going to be affected by this? Will you feel better about the rich getting richer, just because they're not as rich as the other side? I honestly couldn't care less about the wealth of the people on either side of this. My only hope is that Utah benefits from a few league changes.
Yep.I am so sick of this.
How do you cave on something you didn't even care about to begin with? It seems the only thing the owners ever cared about was what split of BRI they'd be getting, which was fairly transparent from the start.

I don't consider myself to be on either the owners' or players' "side". I just want a deal done.
Hunter/Fisher are botching this thing every which way. In over their heads. Almost shockingly oblivious to reality.
I am not a big fan of Fisher but what is he suppose to do take a bad deal.
The owners are actually like a bunch of bullies.

The players should teach the owners a lesson by starting their own league.
...so you think NBA basketball players, many of whom are broke 4 years after they retire...have the brains and know how to start there OWN league? Not going to happen.
Yea because the owners have been so willing to compromise. The owners are actually like a bunch of bullies. I am not a big fan of Fisher but what is he suppose to do take a bad deal.
