You do the crime, you do the time, it's that's simple. It's good for the society, and it's also good for the wrongdoer as it will give them time to reflect and contemplate on what they have done, and hopefully they won't repeat it ever again.

Win/Win.

If only it were that simple. In a Dr. Seuss book that is how it works. In the real world that is as good as fiction.

To marry or not to marry.. that is the question.

Anyone want to have a go answering?

First question: Who or what?
Second question: Why would you want to marry that (them) in the first place?
Third question: Are you available or would your significant other mind being in a bigamist relationship?

Let's start there.

Umm.. it's more of a general philosophical question, let's not get too case specific.

Judging by your response I think we can safely assume:

Question 1: it is a what
Question 2: deviant in nature
Question 2: closeted

Ok.

So... nothing of worth to add then?

I think we are getting somewhere. And that is a very valuable insight into OL. You response here indicates I hit pretty close to home huh? :)

You do know that silence does not necessarily equal admission right?

No way. Silence is the same as "pleading the 5th" here in the US and every armchair judge and juror knows that is as good as a full-on admission of guilt.

I'm just joshing with you OL. You are a good guy, you go ahead and marry whatever you want to bro. You have my full support.

OK here's a question for you then. Fill in the blank:

Getting married was the ________ decision I've ever made.

A) Best

B) Worst

C) Okay

I have posted a lot about feeling very lucky in my marriage. So "best" fits...um...best.

Good on ya :)

Thanks bro. I have always felt like I married up. She is kinder, happier, gentler, everything good-er I guess, than me. She completes me, as corny as that sounds. We have been best friends as long as we have been together and there is no one I would rather spend time with. I envy you having a career working with your family. I know that can be hard too, but I would love to be able to do something with my wife for a career.

We thought about like old person fetish porn or something. And by we I mean me. And it worked ok until she woke up. It was sad, I really liked that camera. :(

In a Christian moral system, if you transgress and "get caught" this formula is justified, but for those who repent there is another equation. In our society, the second equation is replaced by practical considerations like how much payola the corporate Prison cartels can slide under the doors of judges and legislators to tilt public policy enough to fill up their prisons and create a need for more. So we put a lot of rather inoffensive citizens in prison for using weed or doing stuff that's almost normal but technically against any one of millions of laws the ordinary citizen can't possibly consider in his personal decisions, but is "found out" and prosecuted for.

Of course I couldn't possibly know the guilt or innocence, all I have is his say-so and gossip. As I know the man, he should not be in prison.

I think he will be "found" guilty of many of the charges, though, and I think it will come out afterwards, maybe some years afterwards, that some things like forcing witnesses to testify falsely will be proven, and someone else will end up going to prison, and this man will be released and his record cleared. Well, that is, if our society isn't corrupt beyond all hope already.

My advice was admit nothing, take the fifth. It's a long-term bet that preserves the best interests of many people. With a guilty plea on anything, those best interests would be destroyed, literally destroying many lives.

I would like to object to the "old person fetish porn" or anything like it, joking or not. stupid stuff like that. Listen to your wife, life is good enough without "unreality TV". It has been my experience that my wife's sensibilities have saved me a lot of trouble I didn't need.

Just start a legit business doing something you both like, and go from there. Or write a book.

hmmmm. . . .. second thoughts, no don't write a book. That's almost as bad as "old person fetish porn", in fact so closely similar you can't really tell the difference. Old person fantasies or observations of life are about as interesting to young people as wrinkled prunes/prudes? with grey hair trying to do stuff young people can't help but do. . . .

So some good looking friendly girl has been visiting your nursery store a lot recently?

The best answer to this would come from the facts of the case. . . . who she is, and who you are. I mean, in internal matters like values and principles. If it's the girls in your sig pic, I'd say marry both of them. That would result in you becoming wiser than me.\

If I'm not in here posting much anymore, it is because I actually have a job, and a ranch, and a family. And most of my idle time is now sucked up by playing the latest podcast from Mark Levin.

And I've conceded that virtually the entire community in here is just bothered by my ramblings. . . .
