What's new

Looks like the "vaccine argument" just got a little more interesting.

Correct.
And many vaccines contain the adjuvent "Squalene", which is known to cause auto-immune disorders.
Squalene also contains mercury.

I hope you noticed the phrase "...limit their weekly consumption of fish.". To me that indicates that taking/consuming mercury in large amounts is harmful. So perhaps moderation is a good place to start.

One side says there is substantial evidence vaccines cause autism, and a whole host of other health problems (mostly because of the mercury content, and other preservatives inside).

1) The "mercury content" was a compound (thimerisol) easily disposed of by the body.
2) Thimerisol was removed from childhood vaccines close to a decade ago. It's removal did not aqffect autism rates in the slightest.
3) Under the most favorable conditions possible, that one side failed to prove any sort of link at all between vaccines and that "whole host" of problems, outside of the already agreed-to side effects.

The other side says there's no possible way.

Actually, they say there is no evidence, no reason to believe, and no particular reason why there should be a link. There are possible ways, but none of them have panned out.

And also claims that those preservatives are not present in vaccines.
Regardless of the inserts saying the exact opposite.

To which preservative do you refer?

For example , thimerisol is still used in flu vaccines, so there would be inserts there, but no longer in childhood vaccines.

I was circumcised and pierced my duaghters ears at 6 months. You will be happy to know that we all survived those harrowing surgeries and are recovering nicely.

I don't recall using the word "harrowing". I made the comparison to emphasize that I thought circumcision was not "harrowing".

Correct.

Squalene comes from shark livers, and is produced in human cells. I thought you liked the stuff that came from Mother Nature?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Squalene

Nope, no mercury.

It's true squalene boosts the immune system, and an immune system that is too boosted leads to an auto-immune disorder. However, I thought you were a fan of boosted immune systems?

The best cons are where the mark thinks they really know what's going on, and everyone else is foolish.

Agreed.
But what do you think these so-called "cons" are actually getting out of this?
Personal satisfaction?

Feel free to ignore that fact that Mother nature has no qualms at all about seeing you dead and buried, while the companies making the drugs are staffed and overseen by humans who preferto avoid killing.

Considering mother nature is the exact entity that keeps you alive with food and water, makes the first statement sound a little absurd.
The companies making the drugs only priority is to make more money, and they'll keep you alive enough to continue to be hooked on their concoction.
Without mother nature, there would be no humans to oversee these cute little pills and shoot-me-ups.

Feel free to ask.

Ok. I'm asking.

1) They keep me healthy

Yep, they seem to work for some and not for others.

2) They help progtect everyone else
3) The risk is negligible

Are you sure this is the goal?

You're not an infant anymore so you should survive. But sense they are going to cut you open you should really go all out. Get a full body tune up.

Name one site you get information from that does not sell prodcuts for a considerable mark-up.

Considering mother nature is the exact entity that keeps you alive with food and water, makes the first statement sound a little absurd.

She keeps predators alive, as well. It's the man-made stuff that keeps you from being prey.

Ok. I'm asking.

I could type fifteen paragraphs. Could you be more specific?

Yep, they seem to work for some and not for others.

Hence reason #2. Most vaccines are in the 95% effectiveness range.

Are you sure this is the goal?

You asked my reasons, not "the goal".

I don't have access to youtube here, so if your link made a point, perhaps you would care to say it?

I'm 50. That's a more attractive proposition than you might realize.

Lol, go for it! You've earned it. My hair is beginning to go grey and the wrinkles are starting to slowly build but I don't care.

I still have decades left.

The only comment that was correct here was the thimerisol statement, which is not easily disposed of by the body, but collects in the brain.

Well of course they say "no reason to believe".
Until like you said before, 10 years down the road they say "Whoops, I guess the adjuvents ARE actually causing problems."

All the preservatives, and adjuvents are listed in the above article.
Childhood vaccines no longer, but most vaccines above 5 years old.... most definitely yes.

Wow,

One Brow is owning this topic. I normally am pro-vaccine but One Brow has a lot more information than I have.

So you're saying there is a chance of negative effects.

There is a history of fatalities from Whooping Cough, etc.

We are weighing a chance of negative side effects versus children dying. Doesn't mean we should continue to improve vaccines but the cost of not using them is too high.

Thimerosal breaks down into ethylmercury and thiosalicylate. Neither of those accumulate in the body.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ethylmercury

Well of course they say "no reason to believe".
Until like you said before, 10 years down the road they say "Whoops, I guess the adjuvents ARE actually causing problems."

Actually, they never said that. What they said was "Damn, a lot of people are upset over this. It's easier and cheaper to remove thimerosal than to educate the public".

Childhood vaccines no longer, but most vaccines above 5 years old.... most definitely yes.

Since there is no recorded observances of adult-onset autism of which I am aware, why does it matter if teens/adults have vaccines with thimerosal?
