Spida was awful. Rudy wasn't into it. Just a blah effort all the way around. Quin is seeing the same things we are sooooo why not let NWA and Paschal have a turn at the big kids table?

Rudy has had a couple stinkers in Brooklyn. I find it a bit troubling. KD is a bad mutha... I get it... but he's talked so much **** on Rudy you would think there would be a little extra motivation.

His game is dependent on others but you'd think he'd be bringing the heat.

I didn’t expect a win given the B2B, but it sure would have been nice. Glad to see Quin mix it up with Butler there, but really didn’t understand putting him out there with Conley and Clarkson. We needed size and length. Really wish we had a coach willing to mix it up more. Paschall in particular seemed like he could have had a good impact tonight.

The moment Royce went out of the game, Durant went off. Royce did about as good as you can on him, he made him work for his shot
I would have liked to have just seen a possession or two of Juan on him as he’s the longest wing we have and moves his feet better than Gay at this point in Gay’s career.

So it would appear Mitchell needs to sit out to let his wrist heal. His shooting was terrible.

Durant is incredible. Cannot believe he wasted his best years on the Warriors.
He's incredible but he hasn't done anything without a team around him that was already built to win championships and that probably would have won without him anyway. Not sure what that says about his incredibleness.

him going to the warriors will hunt him forever. he won't have peace. the only way to recover from this is to join the jazz and win another ring. let's go

That's my point. He is clearly one of the most talented, incredible players to ever play the game but he wasted his prime years going to GSW. Out of all 30 NBA teams, that was the absolute worst team for him to secure his legacy. Still has a chance to win with BKN because he's that damn good, but he will never get that time back and history will not look kindly on his decision to go to GSW even though he won twice. We won't look back at his time in GSW as something that added to his legacy.

This is nonsense… he won two finals mvps. I get he joined a stacked team but they don’t win it without him. He was the best player on two title teams… how is that wasted time? His Brooklyn years are a much bigger waste of his talent since he’s had no help.

Nets had kd and brown with 59 points on pf/sf spots. We had royce and huan wit 2 points each. This is 55 points gap.Jazz missing bojan badly on nights like this

This was the rare bad Gobert game. It happens so infrequently, but honestly helps you appreciate how amazingly good he is normally. There was no way we were going to win the game if Nic Claxton is outplaying Rudy Gobert.

Don't think I can hate a player more than I hate Durant. Piece of human garbage.
I agree 100%.

LeBron's "Decision" gets mocked all the time when really KD choking to GS then running to them should be the biggest "joining forces" punchline of all time. His move to GS might be the biggest punk move in the history of pro sports.

KD haters are funny.

Yeah KD made kind of a lame move, but when your forced to play with Russell Westbrook for your entire start of your career can you blame him for wanting to join a team that played a better style of basketball?

I don't think you can definitively say they don't win without him. They had just went 67-15 and 73-9 the 2 years before KD joined them. They won 1 ring and lost the next to the best finals series one of the 2 best players of all time played in his entire career. To say they would absolutely have not won without him, with those kinds of seasons already under their belt with their current team, is ridiculous. They were at the peak of their dominance and added another weapon. If I have 5 guns pointed at you and I add a machinegun to the mix, well I would have probably won that fight anyway, but that machine gun sure made a lot of noise, right? Obviously the best gun in the mix. I don't think what he did with GS was anything special given the circumstances. It was actually expected with his level of talent and the team that was now enabling him to shine. Combining 2 recent MVPs at the peak of their careers, with a DPOY at the height of his defensive prowess, on a team that was largely intact and had just set the record for most wins in a season and went to the finals both of the previous 2 seasons and won a championship in the mix, would rarely lead to bad outcomes. It is definitely him riding coattails, not KD dragging GS out of the depths of obscurity to an improbable championship.
