They were doubling Durant before Royce went out of the game, and Durant picked us apart with his passing. The moment Royce went out of the game, Durant went off. Royce did about as good as you can on him, he made him work for his shot

Rudy has had a couple stinkers in Brooklyn. I find it a bit troubling. KD is a bad mutha... I get it... but he's talked so much **** on Rudy you would think there would be a little extra motivation.Spida was awful. Rudy wasn't into it. Just a blah effort all the way around. Quin is seeing the same things we are sooooo why not let NWA and Paschal have a turn at the big kids table?
No, it started when he came back in. The jazz were better off when it was just Royce guarding him. They were doubling Durant before Royce went out of the game, and Durant picked us apart with his passing.
That’s when it became a double digit lead.Right after Royce went out in the third Durant hit back to back threes on Gay because he was afraid to get right in his face like O’Neale
They definitely started doubling him early in the 3rd while Royce was still in the game. I made a comment on it at the time. No, it started when he came back in. The jazz were better off when it was just Royce guarding him.
I would have liked to have just seen a possession or two of Juan on him as he’s the longest wing we have and moves his feet better than Gay at this point in Gay’s career. The moment Royce went out of the game, Durant went off. Royce did about as good as you can on him, he made him work for his shot
He's incredible but he hasn't done anything without a team around him that was already built to win championships and that probably would have won without him anyway. Not sure what that says about his incredibleness.Durant is incredible. Cannot believe he wasted his best years on the Warriors.
him going to the warriors will hunt him forever. he won't have peace. the only way to recover from this is to join the jazz and win another ring. let's goHe's incredible but he hasn't done anything without a team around him that was already built to win championships and that probably would have won without him anyway. Not sure what that says about his incredibleness.

This is nonsense… he won two finals mvps. I get he joined a stacked team but they don’t win it without him. He was the best player on two title teams… how is that wasted time? His Brooklyn years are a much bigger waste of his talent since he’s had no help. That's my point. He is clearly one of the most talented, incredible players to ever play the game but he wasted his prime years going to GSW. Out of all 30 NBA teams, that was the absolute worst team for him to secure his legacy. Still has a chance to win with BKN because he's that damn good, but he will never get that time back and history will not look kindly on his decision to go to GSW even though he won twice. We won't look back at his time in GSW as something that added to his legacy.
Nets had kd and brown with 59 points on pf/sf spots. We had royce and huan wit 2 points each. This is 55 points gap.Jazz missing bojan badly on nights like thisThis is nonsense… he won two finals mvps. I get he joined a stacked team but they don’t win it without him. I agree 100%.Don't think I can hate a player more than I hate Durant. Piece of human garbage.
KD haters are funny. This is nonsense… he won two finals mvps. I get he joined a stacked team but they don’t win it without him. He was the best player on two title teams… how is that wasted time? His Brooklyn years are a much bigger waste of his talent since he’s had no help.
I don't think you can definitively say they don't win without him. They had just went 67-15 and 73-9 the 2 years before KD joined them. They won 1 ring and lost the next to the best finals series one of the 2 best players of all time played in his entire career. To say they would absolutely have not won without him, with those kinds of seasons already under their belt with their current team, is ridiculous. They were at the peak of their dominance and added another weapon. If I have 5 guns pointed at you and I add a machinegun to the mix, well I would have probably won that fight anyway, but that machine gun sure made a lot of noise, right? Obviously the best gun in the mix. I don't think what he did with GS was anything special given the circumstances. It was actually expected with his level of talent and the team that was now enabling him to shine. Combining 2 recent MVPs at the peak of their careers, with a DPOY at the height of his defensive prowess, on a team that was largely intact and had just set the record for most wins in a season and went to the finals both of the previous 2 seasons and won a championship in the mix, would rarely lead to bad outcomes. It is definitely him riding coattails, not KD dragging GS out of the depths of obscurity to an improbable championship. This is nonsense… he won two finals mvps.
