McCollum punched Donovan in the gut last night

I saw it on the replay. Didn't anyone else? McCollum was driving into the paint and either elbowed or punched Donovan in the solar plexus with his off-arm. Donovan clutched his midsection and winced in pain. Did anyone else see it. Remember he elbowed Rudy in a similar fashion in the throat in the last game the Jazz played Portland. You think the Jazz should get physical with him next time they play?

yes yes i do. We should sign an NHL enforcer...

This is the sort of approach i want to see, you know just to set an example for the kids, play hard kids.

You know something, I actually thought about this. But do you remember how the "Bad boys" played? I was a Celtics fan during the Bird days and they were without doubt the dirtiest team in my memory, maybe in NBA history -- Rodman and Laimbeer were possibly the dirtiest players in NBA history.

You're not being realistic in your sarcasm. McCollum is playing dirty, so I guess you have no problem with that -- is that what you're saying? The shots he gives are not the love taps you see from Jingling. I don't know about Bogut; he plays rough but it's within the rules of the game, not what McCollum is doing.

I forgot about Mahorn. Yeah, but I don't recall punches to the gut like I saw last night -- Donovan doubled over in pain; he looked like a boxer who got nailed with a vicious shot to the midsection. I keep asking, did anyone else see it? You could only see it on the replay because of the camera angle.

Ed Davis stabbed a man with a trident... it was a steel cage death match... on the other end it was walking on eggshells doe.

The most annoying play is when the other teams stick their elbows out into Rudy’s chest, neck or face and then he gets called for the foul.

Like the one that McCollum did and very egregiously, as well, that caused Rudy to fall back and hold his neck in pain and complain to the ref.

just more evidence the roughness of the 90s is overrated. you can't even tell for sure if there was anything intentional by Malone, yet they ejected him. not a given that he would have been ejected in today's game. very possible he gets a flagrant 1 for that.

What quarter did it happen in? What time? I recorded the game and will check it out.

I remember watching Malone hit Isaiah real time. At the time i thought it was intentional, but not intending to hurt him and certainly not as bad as the Pistons reacted. Watching the replays since it looks less intentional to me.

I think Isaiahs head just overreacted, or maybe flopped to sell the foul to the refs.
