Call me sentimental, but I think we should have an AK appreciation thread and a Memo appreciation thread stickied for at least a week. Maybe have some prodigy videos on the first page of each......?.....?

Yes. Plenty of Memo highlights out there. It does make sense from a business standpoint, but I just really like Memo.

So we now have the New Jersey Jazz (DWill, Memo and Gaines) and the Chicago Jazz (Boozer, Brewer, Korver). At least we denied the Portland merger by stopping Milsap from joinging Matthews.

There is some flexibility with the TPE. Can't combine it with trades, but can split it to take multiple players.

Can take a 5M player and then a 4M player later.


And since this happened in late December, the Jazz will have all season plus the first month of next season to see if a team wants to dump a good player.

Good move. The same people who are hating this move would have been the first to call for Corbin's head if/when he would have taken minutes from Favors/Kanter. That trade exception could be huge.

I love Memo and wish him the best. But this isn't a bad move for the club. However if we sign AK with our our cap savings I might lose it and this is the worst ddeal ever. No more ******* in the locker room!

Jazz can be below the salary cap. I believe this year the salary floor is 75% of the cap.

I like that the Jazz don't let it become a circus. However I think that management should tell them before they find out from the press like DWill says he did.
