Memo vs Turkey

If you are pro-govt there are huge benefits. If you publish anything that even slightly bothers the BOSS, Tayyip Erdogan, you may suffer terrible consequences.
That's why the media is the way they're now. Luckily people have the internet and are well aware of what's going on
 
Have you ever watched Stargate SG1? If you have, you must be familiar with the Book of Origin, and how Priors interprete it. Sometimes that happens for the Holy Quran.

Nope don't watch Stargate - can you please elaborate on how you interpret it and how someone else might interpret it in another way?

Isn't Turkey part of the European Union? Doesn't EU have a say in how much media freedom / human rights there should be in Turkey?

This sounds to me like what's happening in a 3rd world country not a country that's part of EU.
 
Memo is not the brightest. Talks horrible English despite living over ten years in the U.S.

To go on with, he stole millions of dollars from the Jazz for being injured and being horrible on the defensive end.

As a Jazzfan, I was never a fan for him. And in this discussion, it's just a minority that demonstrates. The majority is behind the prime minister.

They are not part of the EU but they are part of the European Human Rights Convention.

LOL.. that's the worst argument ever. Just because the majority is behind him doesn't give him the right to do whatever he wants IMO.

just GTFO. U gotta respect Memo contributing on the court and helping people off the court with Jazz organization. He's injured for this team and he will never be forgotten. And what the .... u know about Turkey while talkin from switzerland? The majority is behind prime minister? Yea they wanna be behind of him but not to show support, to show something different

Listen. I'm not Turkish and I do live in Switzerland, true. But fact is that the majority is behind the prime minister. A turkish friend of mine said that Muslim women with scarfs weren't allowed to go to school, couldn't get jobs and were not allowed to drive with the bus. Why did no one fight for their rights in Turkey if we are talking about human rights? The prior gouvernment discriminated Muslims in a Muslim country. Ironic, right?

It's reality, but doesn't mean that it's the right path!!

Poverty & hunger is prevalent in Africa - it's reality - but it shouldn't be.


The same goes with Turkey - just because everyone is kowtowing to this Prime Minister - doesn't mean that whatever he does is right. It could just mean that the people are scared to go up against him.

You've got a quite strange way to express yourself. Anyway. There are many anarchists among those protesters, destroying everything, vehicles, streets, shops, setting Turkey under fire. What the hell is democratic about this if a minority tries to dump the prime minister while over 50 percent is behind him. If you want changes there are more appropriate and dimplomatic ways to achieve it.

If the people are ruled by "fear", then there is no diplomatic way to change it except through these types of revolution...
