What's new

Memphis Grizzlies @ Utah Jazz Sat. Nov. 7th @ 7pm MST

How did their real basketball hold up against the Cavs in the playoffs last year?

....not good! But at least they made the playoffs....which is more than anyone else in this dump can say! Actually, there shooting went south and as I recall I think Korver got hurt, too? Anyway, there playing excellent team ball, they have an offensive "system" that creates open shots and tons of opportunities for everyone on the court....and they shoot very well!

What's their fan forum like? You should probably focus on that.

...not nearly as good as this one! I will never leave you guys! Once a Jazzfanz poster....always a Jazzfanz poster! I was posting here before some of you knot-heads were even born! Besides, there are some great posting contributors here that know fundamental basketball!

That sounds like a threat.

Mods?

I saw a post in a NBA forum:

"This Utah crowd isnt what it used to be.

Damn shame, I remember that place was hostile."

For me this is ridiculous. But i never went to Vivint Smart Home Arena/Energy Solutions/Delta Center..

What do you think, guys?

I'm just curious.

I agree with you. I remember during the Kirilenko, Okur, Boozer and Williams years that the crowd was a difference maker...they were cheering very loudly and standing up down the stretch. I hope this season will bring back the fans enthusiasm.

I think the younger generation doesn't bring it like the previous generations, combine with some of those loud fans are now getting older and can't get into it like they used to. Probably some of the same reasons as the increasingly late arriving crowds, frickin' slackers.

It also probably has something to do with pace of play. It's hard to cheer consistently when there are 4 minute long scoring droughts.
