In the same post you:The media has been alluding to a fractured lockerroom for a while, and all the assumption and the blame has fallen on Donovan. What if the real issue is Rudy Gobert? When are yall going to realize that the biggest diva on the team is probably Rudy?
I'm willing to bet Rudy complains all the time behind closed doors. Hell, he complained to the media about touches during the 20-21 season while we were doing well. He publically complains all the time which irritates his coaching staff and teammates.
So many of you have built up in your mind that Rudy is some guy who tries the hardest, says all the right things and is never to blame for our shortcomings. What if he is the massive diva disrupting the lockerroom?
I bet he complained about shot attempts in Game 1 even though we won the game. Pathetic

There is more tangible evidence that Rudy is a diva yet Donovan is the one who takes the brunt of criticism around here for team issues. In the same post you:
1. Suggest that people have “built up in their mind” a positive view of Rudy.
2. Spend the entire rest of the post conjuring up hypothetical scenarios in your mind to counter #1.

Lol. Poor Rudy. Nobody helps him on defense. Nobody can get him the ball when he's wide open in his 3 foot x 3 foot space. Nobody tries hard like him.Rudy is on an island. On the court and in the locker room. The Jazz provide Donovan with layers of teammates and coaches around him. Money is all the Jazz provide for Rudy. He is the fall guy.
Conley was seen as a mentor to Donovan. Royce is a bud. The system is built so no one else dominates the ball than Mitchell. It's all about him. Exum was the only guy who's play ever benefited Rudy. Heck, they even brought in Joe to comfort him! No, they kept Rudy on an island the whole time.Lol. Poor Rudy. Nobody helps him on defense. Nobody can get him the ball when he's wide open in his 3 foot x 3 foot space. Nobody tries hard like him.
Maybe, just maybe, Rudy puts himself on that island. He has the same coaches as Don. Outside of Don's friend Paschall, no roster move has been made for Don and Paschall clearly doesn't play regardless of that friendship.
Don is the one who gets blamed in the media. Don is the player who gets blamed by everybody around here. Fall guy? Get out of here with that "woe is me" mess.
They brought Boris Diaw in to be Rudy's bud but the oddest personnel move regarding Rudy is when they jettisoned Neto.Conley was seen as a mentor to Donovan. Royce is a bud. The system is built so no one else dominates the ball than Mitchell. It's all about him. Exum was the only guy who's play ever benefited Rudy. Heck, they even brought in Joe to comfort him! No, they kept Rudy on an island the whole time.
No, because Rudy tries hard on both ends fans like and respect him more. Does he have shortcomings? No ****, but it's not like Mitchell where his shortcoming is effort on one end.Because Rudy tries really hard in a defensive system, he can't be a diva?
Rock solid logic there.

This is the dumbest ****ing conversation on the board.Conley was seen as a mentor to Donovan. Royce is a bud. The system is built so no one else dominates the ball than Mitchell. It's all about him. Exum was the only guy who's play ever benefited Rudy. Heck, they even brought in Joe to comfort him! No, they kept Rudy on an island the whole time.
I have no problem with a player being selfish on offense as long as they are efficient. My upbringing from my AAU, HS and college coaches all taught similar concepts. Work hard on both ends, and get the best shot. If you have a good shot you can make, take it. It isn't a "Jazz" thing. My problem is a player that won't hustle on both ends. No, because Rudy tries hard on both ends fans like and respect him more. Does he have shortcomings? No ****, but it's not like Mitchell where his shortcoming is effort on one end.
Is it really that shocking to you that the Utah Jazz fanbase, a fanbase that has been molded for the last 30 years to hate selfish volume scorers, is going to turn on Donovan Mitchell?
And IDK if the casuals have turned on him yet, but it's clear the more dedicated side of the fanbase already has or is beginning to.
Conley was brought in for everybody. A "cater to Don" move would have been getting a wing instead of an undersized PG known for leading his own team.Conley was seen as a mentor to Donovan. Royce is a bud. The system is built so no one else dominates the ball than Mitchell. It's all about him. Exum was the only guy who's play ever benefited Rudy. Heck, they even brought in Joe to comfort him! No, they kept Rudy on an island the whole time.
