Millsap for Bledsoe?

Dont need to read anything in this thread..Im sure its the same old stuff said by the same old people...but HELL YES, trade Sap yesterday for Bledsoe...
But Al needs to go also, and might as well try to get something for him before he walks..We just cant afford, in the long run, to pay Al what he will get from other teams(and deserves)..We HAVE to develop our youngs..

edit.....By the way, been reading ESPN article comments and I dont think I have found ONE yet that wants Sap for Bledsoe...they call him a too small PF who cant play the 3 or the 5..Not that anyone there knows anything much at all, but its funny to read that crap there, and it is also obvious they know nothing about Sap...one guy states Sap will get max deal and the next guy says Sap isnt worth 10 mil...IF the clips can sign him for 10 mil, they are stupid not to..imo. Im not a huge Sap fan and sort of agree with the "too small of a PF that cant play the 3 or 5" but those who dont watch him alot can really miss what he could bring to the Clippers...I do want him gone from here and the Clippers would be perfect for him..3rd option at best and he would shine there.

Calling it now... Bledsoe to jazz. Albert jefferturd back to Boston. KG to clipper land.

This trade leaves the jazz with a rotation of Bledsoe Burks Hayward millsap favors kanter Marvin and mo. Pretty sweet team. Also two firsts in the draft.

I don't think it would be on the front page of ESPN and Sportsline if there were nothing to it.

Also, leaking potential trades just means that at least one side wants news out there to signal the other teams that a deal is close and they'd better make their final offers on players involved. That's all. It doesn't hurt the Jazz in this situation. Media have concluded that the Jazz will make a deal and KOC has been on ESPN talking about it.

So with that we would have 3 of LA's guards. What time will tell is were they dumb for letting them go or was the Jazz dumb for taking their hand me downs. As for me I love Sap but would welcome a super athletic pg. As long as this means the fo doesn't have a chance of hanging on to Al this summer.

The Millsap anounced deal is not coming from Jazz camp, so its coming from the Clippers, and why would they anounce there is a rumored deal with the Jazz if they know if they want to actually do the deal with the Jazz, the Clippers know how the Jazz operate by keeping things hush, hush. So, my idea is and its totally plausible that the Clippers are just positioning themselves to push the Celtics to get the Kevin Garnett deal done(meaning talking KG into waiving his no trade clause). If we seriously think about it, if they are dealing Eric Bledsoe and they know to keep Chris Paul, they need to swing for the fences because Kevin Garnett>Paul Millsap. Garnett gives you an actually pretty good chance of beating OKC in the playoffs and winning a championship.

I dont buy it, Im not a Sap fan, but I would rather have Sap at his age than Garnett as faded as he is..Garnett does have real size though, something Sap will never have..

AND...Championship experience, which, Millsap may never have if he continues to demand that he starts in the NBA.

If I'm trying to win this year, give me Garnett. The guy can still play, especially come playoff time.

Odom and Bledsoe for Millsap.

Get it done.

The best part of this trade is Corbin would get a vet back and Odom could be our starting pf. We don't want to rush our young players. And Bledsoe could sit behind Tinsley/Watson and learn a few things.

Post of the year!

Just got home from work, did any one catch Dennis Lindsay on talking sports? Curious what he had to say about the trade rumors.

I seriously want to create an account on that board and tell some of these people to go **** themselves. Idiots in that board.

I think we want Favors in the deal as well. Bledsoe Butler and a 1st for Favors Millsap and Hayward. Maybe toss em Turiaf too, isn't he expiring?

forget this trade bledsoe for a backup big nonsense. if we really want help at the 4 or 5, just sign kenyon martin.
sure we could use the help down low, but considering the sacrifice, we're better just staying put.

Millsap is only 6-8, shoots 36% from downtown, and is great at steals so he could play small forward. Also, he is a very good power forward already so we would have great options. As far as our lineup, if we were to trade bledsoe and butler for him this would be our rotation.
pg) cp3, billups, (utah could give us tinsley or we could sign one like bibby, pargo, or machado (I prefer Machado))
sg) Grant Hill, crawford, green
sf)Millsap, barnes
pf)Griffin, Odom
c)deandre,turiaf, hollins

Sorry, but if you will turn down that lineup then I don't agree with you.

This is ridiculous. Nobody in their right mind would move Bled for an expiring contract vet backup PF. Then what? Milsap plays with us through the PO's and then signs with a team with cap space. No need to salary dump our cheapest rotation player just to have another guy fighting for scrap minutes behind Blake.

Just stop with this stuff, it's making me nervous. No moves until the summer.

Overall, not too much interest on their side on a deal. They only have 2 pages on their forum and 2 replies on RealGM. We have 20 pages on this.

The dude who suggested "Bledsoe + Butler + 1st for Favors + Hayward + Millsap" should take a shotgun, go behind the shed and end it. He honestly has no chance at a successful life, if that's how his brain works.

Mutual interest according to ESPN. My gut feeling is that Clippers fans underrate Millsap, who could be really good backing up Blake and playing spot minutes at 3 or even at 4 with Blake at 5 if they go small. Throwing in a pick from UT would probably make it more appealing as well.

I can easily see them playing small ball like that if they make it to the Finals against Miami.

LOL! Look what some guy on the clippers forum said:

"I think we want Favors in the deal as well. Bledsoe Butler and a 1st for Favors Millsap and Hayward. Maybe toss em Turiaf too, isn't he expiring?"

So Favors, Millsap and Hayward for Bledsoe, Butler, Turiaf and a first (BTW will be a non lottery first) ...
