What's new

Milsap is Gone

GVC said Millsap and Al were better than we give them credit for, yet in three years they got us FOUR playoff games. Even if Favors and Kanter are worse, they will probably get us four playoff games every three years. Half the teams make the playoffs, it isn't that hard.

Also, anyone who compares Utah to Sacramento is an idiot. Plain and simple. That's just stupid. Sacramento and Utah are both going to be in the lottery next year, but they are both in COMPLETELY different places talent wise, draft pick wise, salary cap wise, FO wise, ownership backing wise, etc.

So why would people sign with Denver rather than Utah? From what I've heard the only difference about Denver is legal weed and more thugs.

Big difference.

Sorry.

Ever visited Denver? Ever visited Utah?

Night life, beer, color, religion, aaaaaaaaaaaaallllllllllllllllllllllll figure into this. In fact, other than Sacramento and Indiana, is there another franchise as unattractive to free agents as Utah? Especially to those who aren't Mormon or white?

Heck, I'm white, Mormon, a registered Repub, and I can't stand living here! LOL!

Give me San Diego or Thousand Oaks anytime!

Oh, wo is me! I whine about Utah but don't have the guts to leave!

If you stay North of the point of the mountain, Utah is no different than any other place.

How can anyone think Denver is the same as SLC? It is not. I love the quiet and the mountains, but Utah has a trivial amount of entertainment and youth culture compared to Denver. You can literally see the entire Downtown area, and all it has to offer, in a weekend.

pretty sure that is in la

which is another viable option

save partying for off-season and go to la

Wherever...it was just an example of inviting ladies over instead of going to a club. Second option is to invite a stripper up to your room like some of the Jazz players did in Portland.

I love Utah and slc but if your priorities Are partying and nightlife, it's not Utah.

I imagine that there are a lot of NBA players who's lives outside B-ball don't revolve around partying and nightlife. This has become such an, I think, insulting stereotype. There are, believe it or not, NBA players who have families and prefer domestic life to strip clubs.

p.s. Scorpjazz, I'm using your post as a launching point for my comment, but I'm not responding to you per se. I have no idea what you actually think on this issue.

They might not want to party, but that does not mean they want to live in a place where your car freezes solid in the morning from the bitter cold. Tons of people in this country who don't party want to live near a beach, in a warm climate.
