sar·casm [sahr-kaz-uhm]

noun
1. harsh or bitter derision or irony.

2. a sharply ironical taunt; sneering or cutting remark

The Jazz have done a pretty good job of putting a competitive team on the floor and developing their young players. It does appear that the front office knows what it's doing.

If they did Kanter would be getting more time.

****, I mean, its tough. Enes was just on the post game interview smiling ear to ear talking about how Big Al is a big brother/mentor for him.

Can someone give me a reason why Kanter and Favors should not get 30 minutes a game (with Carroll and Burks each getting 20-25 minutes per game)?

Someone please make a "highlight" video of Brandon Jennings' performance tonight so I can post it the next time someone suggests we trade for him.

This guy has zero play making skills - does absolutely nothing to make the other players on the floor better. He's loaded with talent so he's able to raise eyebrows every once in a while with big numbers but it's just fool's gold. The guy is nothing but a point guard by default.

Ellis and Jennings are the badest backcourt in the NBA and i have watched a lot of Bucks games this season. They are just chucking every game and don´t know that there is something called " passing"

Maybe if he had Sap,Jefferson, Kanter, and Favors instead of their scrubly front-line he would be able to do something.

I like him even more for his humility. I believe him when he says those things.

Is Big-AL not like a big brother for every Jazzfan ? He is a very nice guy, with big faith in his heart .

You have to wonder if they considered/tried trading the vets and tanking but either couldn't trade them or didn't think they could fall off enough to get a meaningful draft pick. I love Hayward's development this season more than anything, and really appreciate the work the team has obviously made to bring him along.

It would be nice if they could pick all four players to develop on court but that just is not the case. Hayward has definitely developed faster having veterans providing him some structure to improve within.

This guy is so classy. Never says that he is not happy with his role and minutes. Always praises Fatterson and Corbcrap. I really don't get it why. I would rather be frustrated, sad. Really impressive that he still can stay so positive.

Kanter has patience and understands the situation he is in. A lot of people want to hate on Corbin/FO for the approach they are taking in developing Favors/Kanter, but we can obviously see the improvement in IQ and skills, especially on Kanter's side (he had more room for improvement of course). So maybe the approach is actually the best one?

Obviously it's impossible to say with 100% certainty either way because we don't have a time machine to go back in time and try the "throw him into the fire" approach that some of you would prefer.

Is giving the kid 18 minutes a game throwing him into the fire????

Maybe because he actually likes his teammates and knows Jefferson is currently the better player. Maybe he enjoys learning from one of the best offensive players in the NBA? For all his faults, Jefferson appears to be a pretty good teacher of low post moves, because Kanter has made some pretty vast improvements.

I hope that you agree that 14 minutes a game are pathetic for huge a talented player like Kanter ?

Exactly, throwing to the fire is 30+ minutes at a guy who isn't ready. His consistent 8, 10, 12 minute games aren't bringing him along slowly IMO. Just stifling his game.

I guess you missed the point of the post. The "time machine" is used to go back to his rookie season and give him 25+ mpg from day 1, which many wanted. This way we could compare both approaches to see which one had the best results.

This is impossible though, obviously.

It is what it is. He is in a tough spot right now in a loaded front court. Someone is always going to be left out of their fair share of minutes. He just has to play through it and keep working, which he is doing.
