That's why they did an early sub out on Rubio in the Lakers game. They put him in w/ Ingles and Hood so he could defer in half-court play initiations. I think Mitchell ended up only playing 6 minutes without one of Ingles or Rubio on the court. So he is actually not playing the role of PG on offense most of the time, even when Rubio isnt in the game and he is.
I know, you already pompously told us.![]()
Hey, I'm passionate about the dangers of Trump.
Which resistance are you talking about? I'm pretty sure if I made that comparison it was in reference to the general population of Germany during WW2 being aware of the dangers of Hitler but going with it... not the German resistance fighters. You saw what you wanted to see.
Ya, I was mainly messing with you.
Udoh has scored a total of 8 points this season. In 86 total minutes. That's 14.2 minutes/game.
Scoring average- 1.3 PPG
That is why it is crazy how well he is effecting the game. The team plays extremely well with him on the court offensively and defensively. Defensively he is easily our best defender so far this season. Offensively I think he is helping create fast breaks that help, but he is setting good screens and doing the little things to really help out everywhere.

Against mostly second units. He's also not a target that the defense takes seriously. We'll see if he can sustain his impact, but even then, we've yet to see him play against scouting. I promise you if Gobert was playing in the 2nd unit and was being ignored he'd be absolutely ****ing feasting.
All that being said, I'm a huge fan of Udoh. I just think saying that he needs some of Gobert's minutes is incredibly premature and almost borders on offensive.
If he does become a starter, who does he replace? I don't think it is Rubio

Say what you want about him in gd threads but his posts about the Jazz are usually positive and good the last couple years. No reason to bag on him for posting about the Jazz in a reasonable way.
But why does DM need to start? His trajectory looks fine so far. He seems to be a high character guy who won't self destruct if he's not given the keys to the Ferrari each night.
DM can dictate the whole game. The others can't.
We need a scoring punch if we're going to be good. Hood might bring it, maybe Ingles, possibly Rubio, but Rubio has made tons of mistakes. DM hasn't.
What? DM has made a **** load of mistakes so far.
