MOAR RUMORS

Exum isn't the back up ... really ....
Zactly.

Neto being a dude who plays d and distributes is what would make him different than our other BACKUP pgs

yeah, because he's quick, tries hard, is 6'4" now, and averaged 2 steals per 36 last year. Definitely projects as someone who will struggle on D, right?
Wow, has he grown? I had no idea he was this big. I was thinking of him as a Stockton prototype (in terms of both game and size). Maybe I was wrong. I loved the way he played in Summer League two years ago. At this size and with his playing style he would be a great addition to the team.

Just cuz you get steals doesnt mean you play defense.

I dont know how he good he is on D though. No idea if he can guard starting PG's well, or at all.

He was 6'2" in summer league 2 years ago and was 21. I'm not sure SF even knows who Raul Neto is after that comment.

Climb aboard the Neto train! Two years ago most people were thinking he looked much better than Burke in Summer League. Now he is also much bigger than Burke. He could be a great backup for this season, and he looks like a possible NBA starter in the long term.

I still don't get the Neto talk. So much definitive talk about a player who's never played an NBA game and had one good SL game.

Jeremy Evans just signed a 2 year deal with the Mavs.

Goodbye Evans!!! Thanks for being a great example of the Jazz giving back to the community.

And he is so cute

Go to Google and type in Raul Neto height. It used to say 6'2", but now it says 6'4", so I assume he's grown. What else did I say that could possibly be up for debate?

Well, he'd be our backup. Nobody knows what he can do in the NBA yet, but in the few games I've seen, i.e., ACB games, nationals last year, and Summer League, his defense has developed, IMHO.

Google says he's grown, but it is hard to tell from watching ACb games, their camera angles make some of their 7'ers look like their 6'7" wings.

If the Jazz sign any of Tomic, Pleiss or Neto and they go on to be solid NBA players, I'm going to officially root for the Jazz to use a bunch of those future 2nd round picks on draft and stash prospects.

Tomic might be kicking himself after seeing the multimillions floating around in free agency. Never heard $$ for his 3-year deal, but I assume it is comparatively paltry.

Tomic should be kicking himself because he's an idiot. Sure, he's a star, in a country that is barely bigger than California, in a sport that is ranked behind bullfighting in popularity. Money aside, the ACB is the second best basketball league in the world, but there is a huge difference between it and the NBA. It's like winning gold in the Special Olympics when you could be competing for a medal with the very best of the world. If that's his mindset, I'm glad he's not on our team. We don't need luke warm.
