Name a better wing rotation than Hayward Hood Burks

It's an interesting thought. I would also wait until post lottery, and would probably do it if the pick were top 2. Simmons is the big prize, but I think Ingram has massive potential. His length also fits in extremely well with the roster we look to be trying to build.

Not to mention, moving Hayward's contract - and not having to offer another max deal in the next 1-2 offseasons - makes re-signing the likes of Rudy, Favors, Hood, and/or Exum to big deals more realistic.

PG - Exum
SG - Hood
SF - Ingram
PG - Favors
C - Gobert

Amazing size, length, and athleticism at every position.
I'd do it for Ingram or Simmons. All of GH's family is in the midwest (and that includes in-laws). I think he either signs with Indiana (residence), Boston (because of Stevens) or ONLY considers Utah if he gets that 5 yr max deal with the 7.5% raises. Sorry, Hayward fans, he just isn't worth that much, especially since it will likely mean losing Favors or Hood down the road (Gobert is a lock to stay) and one of Hood/Favors will get a big deal.

I outlined salary and cap scenarios in a different thread. Only way the Jazz can keep the 5 starters (counting Exum over Neto, of course) is if everyone agrees to take less. I just don't see Gordon doing that.

Me: Hey guys. Just be patient, we haven't seen enough to know yet.

Fish and Dal: How dare you?! Best wing trio in the world!!!

Carlisle said there isnt a better young wing combo than Hayward/Hood.

Im not a liar. So I can't.

high praise.

yeah that 1 2 punch is nasty.

Hoodward. There's your damn alpha!

CHOO CHOO FRANKLIN

Now imagine how good we'd be with a legit PG.
Ya just me and dala

Alpha is Hood. He'll lead the team in scoring next season with 20/per.
Omega is Hayward. He ENDS games with his unguardable stepback.

We made it my ninjas!!! Utah's taking the league by storm, and it's only the beginning!!!!

When Exum starts with Hood and Hayward ,you will see great defense creating offense. What was expected for this year will be even more expected next year.

I expect great defense( #1 rated),more points and top 3 in point differential.Doubters beware,Jazz have something going on.They are building a team as fast and athletic as GS ,but longer in all positions.

The Wing rotation in Utah is legit, can't wait to see Burks back in action!!! Hood is one of the best lefty's in the league, as predicted by yours truly on draft night.

Imagine if they paid Kent Bazemore instead of Ingles this offseason? They'd probably be juggling minutes and playing Hayward at 4 some because the small-ball lineups would be dangerous.

i like our guys.

thompson / barnes / iggy / draymond is a pretty damn good set of wings though
Some more dudes

Don't think I'd consider Green a wing. He mostly plays bigger than his size would indicate - pretty much 4/5 exclusively.

Thompson, Barnes and Iggy are a very good trio, but imagine Hayward, Hood and Burks with Curry - that's dirty. Jazz have a clear advantage at the wing.

Smells like cake up in this bitch.

Fish. Thinking of your 4 good wings question. All I can think of is Klay, Iggy, Barnes, Livingston/Barbosa (not sure which plays PG.)

Obvi not as good as our 3. But you asked for a 4th wing who is pretty good. That's the best I got.
A few more morsels.

Seems like a lot of Jazz fans were optimistic. It turned out that we were wrong. I sure would liked see how it would have looked without Burks missing all those games though.

Honestly Fish, any wing rotation that contains LeBron, Durant, or Leonard is better than what we have.
I did back off the whole best in the world thing though as you can see when I agree with your post above.
Agreed.
We should get one of those guys

A couple more posts of me being open minded and backing off on my best wing stance a bit
Well done.
Though I consider Livingston and barbosa more point guards than wings.... More so than Burks hood or hayward anyway.

That is a good example though.
I guess they are the best team in the league, and maybe of all time for a reason.
We should simply do what they did

Not better, but possible as good: DeRozan, Ross, and Carroll
POssibly Better: Paul George, Monta Ellis, Miles/ Stuckey

Good ones.

I have always had people telling me that derozan isnt very good though (i always disagreed) and carroll is having a down year.

George, miles, and ellis are about equal to Hayward, hood, and burks i think. Maybe a bit better
